Gretchen Fleener started face painting in high school 28 years ago at a local amusement park, where she made $4.50 per hour plus $.10 per cheek art design! This included free touch-up's all day long since there was also a water park on site! Since then Gretchen has also taken up balloon twisting, henna and glitter tattoos. She is the owner of Paintertainment.com, an online retail supplier for face & body artists and source of a wealth of free articles and videos! Over the years Gretchen has taught at workshops and conventions in Belgium, Missouri, Minnesota and New Jersey, as well as online webinars. She is the author of 7 books on the subject of face and body art, including "Realism for Face & Body Artists," "One Stroke Face Painting," and "Jewelry for Face & Body Artists," and is the editor of Wet Paint Magazine. She is owns and operates the Glitter Glamper, a mobile body glitter studio that travels the Midwest in a vintage 1963 Shasta camper! Gretchen lives in Mound, Minnesota with her husband and two teenage boys.
