That girl was treated so badly. She stood there quietly with dignity. She didn’t rant. She didn’t rave. She didn’t act a fool. She maintained herself. They owe her a major apology for how they treated her. They ran this girl down while claiming to love her. All of them.

It takes TWO, to make a baby so how did SHE ruin the relationship with each other’s family?

This family’s treatment of this poor young woman is atrocious. You need a better best friend, she threw you under the bus. I hope they gave her an apology, she never deserved this treatment. Those ears were a dead give away.

I just don’t understand what the big deal was with the families being close together and friendly. It sounds like a beautiful, romantic love story to me. Sister of the guy is her best friend, her in laws love her... maybe people are used to the opposite?

The mom says,”I feel guilty now for not being there for him.” But she didn’t feel guilty for not being there for the young mother, the same girl she supposedly loved like family? I don’t get that. I understand emotions were high and I just hope she apologized to the young mother too at some point. I know how it feels to be a very young mom and be told by your baby’s dad and his whole family that you’re lying or your baby isn’t theirs. It’s extremely heartbreaking and stressful. This girl and her dad raised the baby the whole 3+ years without their help and that’s fine, everyone makes mistakes but I just hope they apologized.

I’m happy to say she is the best DIL but again how this mom acts like she didn’t know is beyond me. We all knew my son was crushing on the girl he grew up with and she was crushing on him. He just didn't want to take responsibility bc that child looks EXACTLY like him. And I'm not understanding why the family went in on this girl so hard like she got herself pregnant.

Really do hope for this girl that she managed to get things sorted now and that this boy stepped up to be the dad of this child. Apologies should also be in order obviously.
