When George came back it made my entire year. I wasn’t even a huge fan of his in the first episodes, but seeing him and Mer interact and talk about death for some reason was the most touching thing ever. Still gives me chills thinking about it
The truth to be told, Grey's Anatomy managed to stay relevant after all these years. They adapt and change and the show still feels fresh. This season is really interesting and I noticed something about this season; The episodes feel shorter...they feel like 25 minutes episodes; It's crazy!
That's a double edged sword though. The original cast will be old and some may want to retire, and some who already old could be dead by then. Look at general hospital, which has been going on since the 1960s. The essence of the show might survive though.
On the one hand, I don't ever want the show to end, but also, I want to know how it ends before the end of my lifetime and have a good 2 months to process it before my time is up.
Divyajeet Nayak I am obsessed with greys but I really just want it to end. It’s not even greys anymore it seems like such a different show now and the only storyline I care for is jo and right now her storyline sucks with Jackson and it would be a long time before she would probably move on. Also people hate most of the characters on the show
@@lolhey4389 100% agree!! i think they should do one more season just for closure because the last season of greys shouldn't be a covid season but after s18 i think it should end because it's just so off and doesn't feel right. personally i feel like the writers are just ruining jo's character (she's one of the only characters i still care for lol) by forcing her with jackson it feels so random and unnecessary.
Chandra, You are one of my very most favorite people on Grey's. You've made me cry almost as much as Ellen and I'm sure you would just love this ? but I just want to give you a giant hug. So here's a virtual hug from me with much gratitude to you for bringing such depth and beauty to our beloved Dr. Bailey ❤
I hope one day they can do a story line where bailey gets to speak to Dr. Percy, Bailey holding his hand as he died telling him he isnt alone is one of my all time favorite scenes. It was so well acted and written and you could really see the pain of Bailey knowing she couldn't help him and how she pulled herself together to be strong for Charles and Mandy Moores character. It would be nice to hear him tell her he appreciated her being there and how he found Dr. Reid in the afterlife and told her himself he loved her or something of that nature. Bailey is by far one of my most favorite characters.
Grey’s Anatomy is my favorite show and I own all the seasons....this show can go on forever and so long as the actors want it to, I really hope that it will keep going and going!!!!
Does anyone knows or can tell me what brand of sweater is the one that Miranda Bailey on Season 17 Episode 5. It’s a grey one. Please, anyone? Thank you 🙏🏻
I agree. And also not to be racist because I’m WHITE PRIVILEGE, it’s turning into a political statement show thanks to Shonda Rhimes. Where’s the entertainment value anymore, about doctors and their lives in a hospital? Two actors talking about being Suma Cum Laude, on a TV show. Are they in real life? I understand what they are trying to say, but it’s like any nationality, minority, it you want something bad enough you go for it. You start to turn off people when and especially during this time you politicize it all. ALL LIVES MATTER.
@@christinesevigny8252 well you're wrong I'm loving this show more and more because Shonda Rhimes doesn't give two shits what people have to say about her show that is super successful. The point she has made starting fmo season 1 is that she doesn't want Grey's to be a white based show. She put a mixed race cast altogether before other shows did. She, herself, has said she puts in the political statements to empower the show and show what the actors really stand for. Do some research because you sound stupid.
Why is this a question on when she's leaving or wanting to stay. When she's ready to go then she'll make that decision. Crappy interviewing......it's like people can't Iive in the moment. Someone can be deadass happy with their job or be at peace with where they are in life and then here goes someone....so what's next for you....like MIND YA OWN BUSINESS... Let me live my life!
If you love your job, why would you want to leave? These actors have had a steady job in the industry since 2005. That is extremely rare. I'd stay there until I was ready to retire lol. Who needs the stress of auditions and getting rejections?
Well, when so many characters come and go and there are only 3 OGs left...it's bound to come up cause usually by this point only Ellen would still be on the show. 17 seasons is A LOT for an actor to stay on. Even Sandra Oh said she knew it would only be 10 years for her and Patrick left because he wanted to a few years later.
I gave shonda rimes that idea just not with mer having COVID I said for her to have a dream go to work mark derek Lexie George everyone working like they never died
