That day was one of the worst of my life. Constant calls from friends and family, the internet flaring and constant news reels. I still couldn't believe it. I'm still trying to accept it. Never even met him, and I feel like I've lost a close uncle. Chester, I sung along with you from the time I was born, and I'll continue to sing along until the day I die. ❤

I've been crying for 3 years. Stopped listening to his music completely until February this year, when Grey Daze started releasing their music... Chester lives on... he'll live on forever!! As all legends do. ❤️️🔥

I found out about his death one night, I was awake and I was looking at some things on the PC, my boyfriend sent me a message telling me that Chester was dead. my heart broke because even today, in 2020 I cry if I think about it, it's like having lost a loved one, a brother, there is an emptiness and every time I hear his songs I feel like he is still here, his voice is alive and still speaks for millions of people, his death has created a hole inside me, sometimes I would like to stop to listen his voice but I can't... we miss you Chester❤️

Chester is missed now and forever. I just pray he is now at peace. His powerful vocals on the songs he sang got me through some hard times.

I'm still broken like it was yesterday. Sometimes I smile, sometimes cry...but deep inside something is broke, when i found out about the incident.

I remembered when he died, I was supposed to go to my cousin's party but wanted to stay home, locked in my room, crying and playing LP nonstop. I had to go either way but on the radio, LP was played the whole day, from HT to OML, and me singing and crying with pride and really misses him since. This day was one of my worst days in my life, very traumatic, next to finding out my parents had divorced a long time ago, my dad hitting my mom in front of me, abuse, abandoned.

That day was definitely a tough day for me, it felt like I lost a close friend. I hope Chester is resting in peace and his family and friends have found happiness. His music has touched millions and his voice will live on through his fans.

I may have not met Chester or knew him personally but the the day he died a part of me died too..

I literally had a bad horrible panic attack when I saw the news about Chester. Making new music is what kept me going.

I wonder how different the world would be if you were here we miss you Chester I cried a little when I listened to the songs you left us and knowing there gonna be the final ones you left us rip much love much respect

When I heard about Chester it went off my living room TV without warning on ABC27 or GMA it played the songs Numb, in the end, heavy, numb/encore, and showed pictures of him and I was confusing at first, next thing I looked it up and it was official and I started crying. He died right before my boyfriend's birthday. It was 12pm here when I heard about it , I was 16 at the time.

I want to personally thank ALL of the guys in Grey Daze for giving us some of the best music I have heard in years, I LOVE YOU seriously, it means so much to us Chester fans who were unaware of your awesome band. Simple-minded to the mainstream. I will always be a fanatic of Grey Daze from here to eternity. thank you from the depths of my heart.

Started bawling from the beginning. I miss Chester so much, this one was so emotional. It reminded me of the day he passed. I just moved back to Arizona and was unpacking my things when my sister ran into my room and told me the news. I stopped what I was doing instantly and went online to make sure. After that felt lost, and still do today. Morei Sky was incredible, just heard it on the livestream. Such an emotional song. I miss him so much and I wish I could have been to one of his concerts or even met him RIP Chester Bennington I still feel like a huge chunk of me is missing every day after losing him. Thank you Grey Daze, this means a lot to all of us.

I don't think Chester truly knew just how many lives he touched. I had the fortunate opportunity to see LP on their Carnivore Tour and he was so full of energy and I couldn't help thinking I wanted to be like him. Linkin Park will forever be my favorite band but I can't wait to experience this album from his days with Grey Daze.

This is so hard to watch... It's like I'm reliving the day he passed away and when we all saw that horrible news on internet. Like so so many people around the world, I miss Chester every single day... He still give me strenght. I'm listening to Linkin Park, Dead by Sunrise, ... when i'm on a bad or sad mood. Or even when i'm fine. I think we can't say how much we're thanksfull to you Grey Daze for releasing this album. Because it's like a piece of him coming back on earth with us. Showing his brightness with his beautiful voice. So thank you so much to all of you and all the people who worked on it. Can't wait to hear the full album.

Je me souviens encore du moment où j'ai appris le décès de Chester. J'étais au restaurant, je n'ai pas pu terminer de manger. Mon icône n'est plus là ! Comment ?! On ne pourra jamais l'expliquer... Les mois suivants son décès ont été très dur. Mon idole depuis mes 13 ans est parti. J'en ai maintenant 33. La musique ne meurt pas, il restera pour toujours mon idole.

I remember being half asleep in bed when I heard my radio say Chester has died, It literally made me jumped out of my bed thinking, Did I just hear that right? Or am I going crazy? Going to work that afternoon was so hard to realize I'm never seeing one of my heroes again! I still have the tickets when I was supposed to see them in August 2017.

I spent all of that afternoon alone, crying at home, listening to an improvised "To Chester" special program on Radioacktiva. They were about to start a natioanal rock 6-hour special as July 20 is our Independence Day and Pamela (the one in charge) just said "we're still waiting for confirmation on the news but this is devastating and we would like to listen to his music" and she played Crawling first.

Bro the addition of the news feeds was a nice touch in a weird way. It brought us back to that day. At least for me, and I remember how I felt and I realize I shouldn’t take things for granted. Never know when it’ll all change

I was at San Diego Comic-Con when I found out about Chester's death, I was really torn about it, started playing loud Linkin Park songs while I was in line for a panel and people started to look at me weird for doing that.

I remember coming home in 2017 from a grocery store, my brother knowing I was a big Linkin Park/ and even Grey Daze fan said " It's all over the internet" at first I just thought it was some stupid jackass trying to get attention posting false information and right at that moment before I put my grocery bags down I saw the news on TV. I couldn't believe it.... I was like damn we've lost one of the most talented voices in rock history

I hear these guys open up, and IDK if it’s just the way he is, but to this day I have not heard Mike open up about the day he found out, or how he felt, what he did. Idk I just think we all wanna know.
