In fairness, the Grey Seals at Donna Nook are now so used to people that they'll come right up to the fencing, installed to keep people and Seals apart.
This is Donna Nook, where there is fencing to stop people getting too close. But some of the mums here will get right up close to the fence and even get their pups to come up to the fence so they can show them off 😂

Marine Life Viewing Guidelines from NOAA recommend: "For seals and sea lions in the water, or on shore, remain at least 50 yards [150 feet] away-about 1/2 a football field." "Pups can also be abandoned by their mothers or forced into the water too early due to human interaction." It looks like you are much too close and causing distress to both this pup & its mom. If so, shame on you.
