We have a retired racer named Rainy. Her racing name was XJT Rain On Me. She is a gentle sweet girl and we love her so much. Your Molly is a beautiful girl!
They are certainly interesting dogs to have at home. I have two, Rosie and Tyson. I must praise you on how beautiful and well looked after she looks. You can see how much you love her. Blue is my favourite colour. My two are black. I would love to see more of Molly 😍
I've worked in greyhound kennels and they get kept well.well in the places I worked anyway.i use to walk 6..first 3out in the morning 2and a half mile road.then out with the next 3the same.kennels cleaned.breakfast the a rub down for all 6.then back out in the afternoon.was walking 10miles day 6days a week.great stuff
@@leekuan2007 it was back in the 80s so we use to find a route in a car and clock the mileage.but also was walked at a good pace the dogs almost in a trott.
How I groom my greyhound. I brush down one side of her body. And she dashes off and dives into bed. She gets one side done each time! She is too lazy to stand for both sides at once. Good to see how it is done here.
Thank you for this video. I had toy poodles that didn't shed and am thinking of adopting a greyhound. My biggest concern was shedding. Had gotten so used to not having pet hair everywhere but I want something different other than poodles again but still without the fuss of hair.
Greyhounds do actually shed fur too, potentially not as much as other breeds and certainly good to give them a rub down every day but you can't escape fur, espesh when the new seasons come in and their coats change
Yes that's very accurate. My blue doesn't shed that much but the fawn sheds at least 30% more; maybe just because fawn hairs are more noticeable to human eyes? And the fawn hairs seem thicker than blue ones as well.
Molly has been with us since Nov 2018. Now she's almost five. Her typical breakfast and dinner are like 250g dry food plus 100g home-made gravy. The gravy is either thick bone soup, made by supermarket pet bones cooked in a pressure cooker (with little water), or chicken mince, made by cheap supermarket pet mince cooked with oats. The gravy can be stored in the fridge. Just need to heat it before serving.
Make no mistake: greyhounds do shed. Quite a bit. My rescued greyhounds are from Florida. I am in Canada and since we have cold winters they shed like crazy in the summer. No kidding, I have to vacuum or broom daily.
@@leekuan2007 Yes indeed. We have torrid summers with high humidity (30C +) and our winters can go as low as minus 30-40C. I have AC for the summer because they do not tolerate the heat ( even though they are from Florida…) and in the winter, they each have wool sweaters, polar fleece coats, tuques and boots. Love them to bits.
my He-man sheds like a Husky, has a thick undercoat as well. As result he is not very fond of coats. Dodger, my younger one, has much less hair, but isn't very fond of walkies....or any activity at all. ^^
@@leekuan2007 Thanks^^ Dodger is the laziest dog I ever had. He does enjoy car rides now, but it was a journey. When I got him, he was so severely traumatised, that he had panic attacks...even the car was scary.
@@DCFunBud I will speak English in the hound videos. For a moment I thought you were about to mention the Squid Game, by referring to Korean audio and English subtitles.
