Grid Autosport is a fairly underrated imo. What lacked in Career mode more than makes up for it in gameplay in other modes and especially regarding the sound design. :)
For a old generation game this Grid have amazing grapics almost of real life! I play a long time and man was one best games of circuit races i play is too sad they dont bring him for the next genaration....
one thing the grid series got right is how good all the car sounds and all the backfire sounds different, thats one thing i wished they changed in horizon 5 all crackle and pops sounds so similar
I agree! Codies should've kept the structure that was there if they were to reboot the series. Since Autosport the next two games feel like a fan made series with the GRID name slapped onto it.
I can understand that you like Autosport but to compare its visual fidelity to 2019 or Legends is downright absurd. Legends, as a matter of fact, as better lighting than "flagship" racers like FH5/GT7 with all-out volumetric lighting and global illumination from ambient lighting sources right from city lights to fireworks in the sky. Don't be ridiculous.
Codies made a weird decision to make a 3 rotor Furai and a 4 rotor 787B sound like a pitched up V10. They do have the best sounding Koenigseggs tho, by far.
Grid 2 has them even better, Autosport quieted many of the sounds down and got less dramatic gear change sounds. Its still far superior to all Forza and modern NFS garbage, and is effectively an improved way sounds worked in original NFS Most Wanted, even using some of the very same sounds like S2000 sound for max upgrade Punto or Evo for example. Its a terrible shame Codies never made a street racing game. Grid 2/autosport in open world would be amazing... and a true successor to black box era nfs games.
I've been playing through all the GRID games recently and actually really enjoying GRID Autosport. So much so, that I even got it on my mobile to play while away from the PC. For a mobile game, I think this is one of the best! But, 2008 GRID was GOAT! Nice video on some of these epic cars sounds. Cheers!

Do you have reshade mod on this game? becuase if this the game looks extremely good. I never got to play this game so I didn't get to see what it looks like.
When you try to race with 8+ laps settings at around lap 7 to 10, you can ask what is the damage on your car, and it must be the Clutch problem and the shifting sound is changed, as if it really damaged
Let's not forget about damage model as well. It has one of the best damage models almost identical to racedriver grid. Maybe you should do a video about it :)
Their decision to bring this game on Mobile is such a good idea this game remains underrated for decades now they got a big recognition of it! And this game is my first game on mobile that I don't regret single penny for spending it!
Ahhh I remember grid autosport on my 360. Yeah, I would recommend going on eBay and getting a copy if you've still got and old 360 lying around, this game imo was really good
@@TimothyJavier go type up on RU-vid single turbo r34. There’s is a massive sound different when comparing a twin turbo and a single turbo. For better reference the r34 f sound from 2f2f was recorded from single turbo car.
