@@morejace00 the safe play is to shoot them. so yeah it's a bit of a meme and flex when you purposefully ignore the easier kill to go for the one that is cooler.
@I Hate Satan I realize I didn't need to. I also didn't need to reply to your comment, the comment you didn't need to write. What is this logic lol. I'm explaining to someone who clearly doesn't understand how certain actions are perceived in a tactical shooter game, and you wanna tell me I didn't need to explain? You didn't need to comment either, yet here we are. Have a good day dude
@I Hate Satan I didn't misunderstand. I understood what was said, if he meant something else he's free to correct me. I think I read it just fine. The way I read it was the same as you, except I assumed there was meant to be a comma after "memey". Which would mean what he said was along the lines of melee killing people being considered a meme, is childish. Which implies he finds the idea of people complaining about being meleed, as childish. That is what I inferred from his comment. Considering the sentence doesn't make sense grammatically in the context given without the comma, it's a safe assumption that there's meant to be one there, along with the period you mentioned before hand. But rather than correct his punctuation, and formatting, I just replied, explaining the perspective he called "childish". I only did that because I'm under the assumption he doesn't understand WHY people find it as a meme, and considering the shortness of his comment, and lack of reply I deduce that I was correct in what I THINK he said. I don't know man. Sounds like you read a comment, that you understand, and saw my reply, and didn't like that I explained it, because it's obvious to you. A lot of things are obvious, like the earth being round, yet there's plenty of people who argue. The idea that I cannot share a perspective, piece of knowledge or opinions because it's obvious, is not a notion I understand nor agree with. I am free to help people understand what the general consensus is on a subject matter, as long as I don't belittle them by making them feel stupid for not "seeing the obvious". And if it is so obvious... then why did he comment with the insinuation that he didn't understand, calling the actions or thought process childish. I understood his point of view, I understand people who think t bagging is disrespectful, meleeing is a meme, and they feel that way because of what I stated previously.... the idea of taking the hardest or more challenging and less guaranteed route to success, simply because you can, it's cooler, or funnier, is something a lot of players do find memey and disrespectful, I merely stated the WHY for that generalization. If you can't understand why I'm stating the obvious, perhaps the true obviousness of the initial comment went right over your head, as did it's context. (Sorry this is so long... it's almost like I'm allowed to type my thoughts out to better articulate them so I am not misunderstood, move on if you don't wanna read) tldr: people can say what they want within reason on the internet and getting pointlessly triggered by someone sharing perspective and knowledge is ridiculous
@I Hate Satan but I don't wanna be right :( I wanna understand your perspective. Sorry if I came off like an asshole, I think very analytically at times and it comes out douchey. Lol sorry.
I always thought that Gridlock was among most underrated op in R6. Powerful weapons, no recoil, no long loading for her M249 Saw, and a perfect role for "after planting" mixed with smoke for preventing the progress of defenders and covering flanks. What else?
sure, but in almost every situation Nomad is better. they're both good post plant, they can both shut down a path for roamers, they can both cover flanks and runouts.. the difference is; nomad does it better. her gadget is not only easier to hide, it also puts the enemy into a forced animation with a loud sound effect, basically giving you free kills. Nomad is also a 2 speed, and on attack; that makes a big difference. Nomad is simply a better gridlock by design.
@@pixel6173 I agree for most things you said. Nomad has a gadget more discreet and louder when a defender takes it and perfect for covering flanks but less efficient than Gridlock after planting. Nomad is also prettier than Gridlock but thats all.😅 Gridlock is better than Nomad about weapons.
I’ve played this game for 7 years and the 7:06 counter spawn peak is completely new to me. You manage to always teach me something new in every single on of your videos Macie. Very nice Also, was the Varsity in that Chalet clip??
Grid lock is one of my favorite ops, because I love to plant and she might be the most powerful post plant player other than Monty, and ig capitao in the game
Macie back with fantastic clips and those crispy edits! Always learning some sneaky angles too! Never seen that rappel bench angle into that 2fl window! Such a nice spot for countering those peaks!
It's always a Deja-vu moment watching your videos, cause for a lot of these clips I am there in stream as well but somehow the experience of watching it real time and then in a video like this is completely different
@@PermisoMMG Lol i wasnt! I looked at his pic and he looked suuuper young so thats what that was..Hes saying he works 45 hrs a week so..Hes prob not 11
Hello Macie, just wanted to say it’s been a while since I’ve check your channel out. Have to say, you have the mental fortitude of a god in order to keep playing this game after many years.
ngl, I think that the Ying "nerf" will force players to learn her mechanical details (i.e. how long does each light make it roll for exactly and how far does that take it) so that they can get the most out of them with the reduced flash duration. think like Valorant pop-flashes, but the flash moves with you as you rush in
Huge change. As a Ying main she pairs extremely well together. 4 Candellas, 4 Trax Canisters, 4 Smokes together. Add anyone else and you have the most potent planting attack team ever. Trax Canisters cover the sound, Yings flash anyone looking at plant, and smokes cover physically. Wild combo.
Macie, I'm just curious what your grenade button is bound to? I struggle to land my nades without dying because the G key just makes movement really difficult while cooking a nade!
Damn first time in my life i feel myself smarter than Macie. On 8:31 u hear airjab sound and dont realize nomad was only in library&blue stairs and then killed, so airjab can only be there. But everything else, what a beast
I just had a good idea, you could Iana trick somebody, let them hear you deploy the hologram then quickly exit it and run in and hopefully they'll think you are the hologram?! Maybe? And let you run by then you flick and kill em
I’ve been running gridlock for a couple of seasons now she’s a strong operator but for some reason has either been overlooked or doesn’t hit the ‘meta’ Surprising how many kills I’ve had after dying or how many successful plants!
I wish this video didn’t come out because Gridlock will most likely get banned every game now… been using her since the patch came out every time and you can control or force any area of the map
