For clarification, this is more of a Prequel/Sequel thing, although im sure if I called this a prequel people would be really confused as no gd level prequels exist as I know of I would also like to mention this is a remake of the 2015 slaughterhouse by me, I never planned on making a sequel to the new slaughterhouse and there is already enough inspired levels like that anyways .(Kocmoc is the best example) Who knows though, maybe one day ill change my mind.
I think the threatening energy comes from the song choice, that being Stalemate by Kzx. There’s something about it that gives off uneasy vibes. That, combined with the somewhat unsettling visuals and the name of “Grief” makes for a pretty cool level
This level feels like you've beaten Slaughterhouse, then years later it comes back to life to fight one more battle against you. The music, the even harder gameplay, the nostalgia towards the original slaughterhouse. I love this level.

I love the transition from slaughterhouse to slaughterhouse and then back to slaughterhouse then back again to slaughterhouse then turned into a whole new level
So he basically canceled it first but people motivated him as there are some who really like this. He then decided to finish it to show ignorance to the haters which is kinda cool I think excited to see where this will go
Old Slaughterhouse was one of the first Impossible levels I ever saw and I was very intimidated by it . Seeing this was close to reliving that experience .. 100x improved version of the original level while both maintain its charm Well done, icedcave. You make iconic levels.

it's so disappointing that people went out of their way to attempt to ruin something like this. however, i'm very glad that you're pushing past those people. i'm very hopeful to see how this level turns out, and i'll be happy no matter what state it's in. (plus i think this level is cool af and nostalgic and lets me finally have something to look forward to)
I cant believe this level will be verified one day, this layout was just INSANE. My favorite impossible level as finaly came back from the darkness, ready to see the light of the sun soon. Keep it up i hope this gonna get decorate and im sure it'll look crazy. The death himself seeing the light of the sun, ready to destroy every piece of life at the surface of the world. the Demon getting out of his egg for years... the best and last top 1 ever possible. thx for bringing back those memories
This is super super cool, I love how you incorporate concepts from modern slaughterhouse in the part that replaced the wave spam in the original, plus the extension was super unexpected but super cool. This really seems like a beast of a level, super excited to see it getting decorated and (potentially) verified
lmao forget pretty much, unless GD players literally evolve, they're not beating this. Maybe after like 1million attempts, but for now this is way out of reach

The nostalgia hits hard. As someone who has been around for both versions of Slaughterhouse this feels like a perfect appreciation letter to the old slaughterhouse.

i know the gameplay isn't going to be great, but its so satisfying to watch, the music makes it feel like its the final boss, and its the perfect combination of the impossible slaughterhouse and the new one. icedcave, you are the goat
This is one of the most icedcavey icedcave levels ever and it’s absolutely fantastic, one of his best. Love this so much, the attention to detail and originality of the gameplay is top-notch, totally amazin.
Try not to praise this level too much. Yes, I love this level too, and my heart sank when I heard it was being canceled (I'm glad it's back). But to be fair, it does have a lot of unoriginal and repetitive wave gameplay. Does that matter? ....No, it doesn't. Because for what this level was going for, it does it well, and there are lots of things to like about it. The reason I said "Try not to praise this level too much" is because some people are going to come in and correct you like I did, but in a less...constructive way.
despite me expecting this to obv be a slaughterhouse (the old one) remake, this somehow still surpassed my expectations, especially with the extension. gj
Since I've been seeing a lot of negativity surrounding this I thought I'd share some of the parts I like about this level: 0:11 In the original level this part is just tight spam for 10 seconds, and I think you did a great job at creating actual gameplay while staying true to form, it keeps most of the section requiring 7 - 10 cps clicks but isn't just a narrow corridor. Also, the way the level's name is integrated into the gameplay is awesome, especially with the spikes strewn around to keep it from being just vanilla spam. 0:51 Clearly very inspired by the new slaughterhouse's gameplay, seeing as this is sort of like a sequel to it, although in this part and also the second drop, something about it feels more polished, I can't exactly put my finger on it but all the 3 / 4x speed waves in the drop just feel like they flow better, it's clear that you've improved a lot with making this style of gameplay. 1:13 Honestly, really good decision to overhaul the memory section, I was against it at first but after looking back at the original, yeah there was no way you could do anything with that section to make it bearable. 1:39 Favorite part of the level, at this point the level served it's purpose as a remake staying true to the form of the level, and a sequel should take what worked well with it's precursor, polish it up, and add some new ideas. This part is so much different from anything else seen in the new slaughterhouse or other parts of the level, same can be said about the post drop as well, the pre drop and ending of the new slaughterhouse were definitely the weakest parts of that level and adding some of the other timing based game modes, as well as some more variation with the cube and ship gameplay makes it 10x better then the new slaughterhouse pre drop. Also that click at 2:07 looks extremely satisfying like the ufo click in phobos where you fall down to the bottom of the level along with the song. Overall I'd say it definitely needs some balancing in some parts, although besides that you've got an amazing layout on your hands.

I love how nostalgic this is to the old impossible level! Also, I think this is harder than slaughterhouse, which is the current Top 1 demon, because of the steady slaughterhouse difficulty all throughout the level, and with it being longer than slaughterhouse by about 2 fold
