It was such a memorable and distinctive time. In London I was 19 in 89 and involved in similar things, football, music and fashion, baggy clothes, perms etc. I remember the riot at Strangeways and people taking ecstacy in the football terraces. There was a feeling of rebellion at that time, collective uprising especially with dance culture becoming prominent. Condolences for the loss of Jeff's wife. Life is not easy, but we got to keep moving forward. Thank you both.
Lovely guy Jeff, nursing his wife everyday until sadly her last breath. Such a honest description of the stages of grief. I hope it gets a little easier each day. x
No problem, I met Jeff a long time ago and always remember his great story telling, it’s great to see the progress between the 2 videos, he seems in a better place in the second video
I was browsing YT refreshing my eng as I do everyday, bumped into this podcast, Jeffrey has an amazing raw eloquence... Really sorry about his loss, he sounds like a solid character. Rosa
Absolutely Brilliant Jeff & Paul!! Jeff, I could listen to you all day and you have so much wisdom to pass on to the young ones too. Sending you love and strength from Brooklyn
What an interesting bloke with an equally interesting story! Watched the second chat you guys had first! Then had to come for the first part! Did my partying in the 90s caught many stories about the acid house scene from those that were there in the in the 80s! What an experience, life before the smart phone! Only criticism I have is it wasn't long enough! Bet between the both of you, you have hours and hours of adventures!!! Thanks for sharing....
I always aim for 45 mins to an hour in the belief that people won’t watch much longer but a few people have said now they could listen to Jeff for hours . I’ve been doing them all on grief and mental health but stuff like this is a big part of who I am so I will do more . Nanea Reeves tells a powerful story . That’s one of my best 😀
Thanks , Jeff is so good in this isn’t he . There were no planned questions, we just said let’s not prepare it , hit record and have a natural conversation
