Ride Safer sells the booster seat for $69 and it can be used in addition to the vest. We looked into it for my oldest who had a huge growth spurt and outgrew her 5 point harness before 4.

One thing I have noticed in your videos of the past few weeks is that it seems that Griffin has made some strides in communication, with being able to shake his head no in response to questions, or wave his arms in a “yes” gesture. Maybe that is something he has done for a long time, but if that is relatively recent, that seems like an encouraging sign that therapies are continuing to work. Also, I love your bathing suit, Emily! What a cute summer color and style!

Have Will pick up a metal (stainless steel) turner and meat thermometer from Amazon. It'll make grilling a breeze! Have lots of family fun this summer!!

I’m sure you learned this after 2 years with the vest but commenting for ppl who may be new and not known proper fit of it. The bottom flaps of the ves vest should not be on his belly as it is here. It should be folded don laying flat on the tops of his thighs where the belt rests in his lap not on his hips or tummy. Touching his neck is not the issue that several commenters have stated it to be. The danger is not having it touch 5e neck but is not having the belt in center mass goin across the shoulder. It should be crossing the shoulder and not the belly or across the throat and not where the child is pulling it under their arms or behind their back. Rubbing the edge of the neck is not super comfortable but is still safe as long as the belt is crossing the center of the shoulder. This is per the manufacture instructions and how to videos in case anyone is wondering where my information comes from.

Yay Wallace Fam! What a great day of family fun! That backyard is such a bonus blessing to your roomier house! Water days are a super summer activity with the kids throwing water balloons and squirting water guns at each other! Emily, you look great in your swim suit! Summer days aren't complete without a juicy watermelon. My favorite are the yellow-meated ones! Glad you took the plunge, Will, and tried out the grilll! It's our favorite thing to do in the summer. We grill all our meat, fresh veggies and even fruit like peaches and pineapple! As you do it more, you'll discover it's really a great way to avoid a hot kitchen! Next time, try putting your corn-on-the-cob on the grill! It really brings out the sweetness! It's exciting to see Griffin in his new car seat gear!

7:46 for anyone to tell you what to do with your kids is absolutely insane to me. They dont know what you go thru or how to handle things with children who have special needs. You are doing AMAZING and you are keeping him so safe which is extremely hard with children who have no concept of safety, something i understand to an extent because my oldest daughter has autism. Keep ur head up and ignore the negative comments.
