17:14 see it's differ from pov to pov like guts leaves band of hawks so he could find a goal and a purpose to live as Griffith have that conversation with the princess and guts have heard the conversation about friendship and dream,he also think about it deeply. Now, from Griffith's perspective when guts leave the band he couldn't accept the reality that a crucial member have left the band,so just to take out the frustration and sadness,he do some (uncivilized things) and when he get caught and punished he blamed everything on guts like if he hadn't leaved the group everything would have been alright.okay now about the eclipse,i can say that if any other guy was in position of Griffith during eclipse i think they would also have done the same thing,but what femto have done to casca in front of guts is just unforgivable.and i totally agree to the fact that in someone's story you will be the villain and in someone's you will be the hero......

Griffith was worng because rather than accepting that guts had left he lost his cool and did that he would not do in a sound mind . And his haterd destroy his inner self 2nd mistake was accepting the devil But could not be consider as his mistake rather we can say that this was a chance to him for achiving his dream and if i was in place of griffith i would also have accepted the devil . Guts was worng in his own way . Leaving behind his friend when he needed the most was his biggest mistake . But , what if one of those could have stoped from making these mistake the whole story would been have a happy ending .

I think the reason Griffith considerd villainous was because he didn't understood guts As guts left the band probably to find his dream ,chase it ,and get at an equal level to Griffith so he can become his friend but Griffith took all that otherwise Also the reason Griffith thought this way because it was already destined So yes Griffith didn't did anything wrong but it was all destined that this will happen it wasn't Griffith's fault And yes after rebirth he wasn't the same person.

Femto may be rebirth of Griffith., but it doesn't mean that he lost all his consciousness about his previous life.. It was not necessary to do that thing with casca if he was not Griffith., but it was his self centered hatred towards guts., that lead to act that henious thing.. If you think what Griffith did after eclipse was not actually himself but Femto did., you're wrong. Femto is nothing but changing a name only., the real thing always stay behind the human flesh and the mind itself., His hatred made him evil., it's actually not related with the name 'Femto'., He must be punished for that crime., apart from this what he did to pursue his goal., is not so evil. Griffith did everything wrong😞. Guts leaves the band bcz of Griffith's speech to princess. If Griffith tried to save guts many times than guts did more than enough for him. He have fought countless battles at risk of his life. And if femto and Griffith are different than why femto creates his empire, it shows he is still Griffith. And Griffith did do that with casca bcz he don't want to do it with casca, in eclipse he did casca to take revenge from guts. GUTS IS THE REAL CHAD🗿🗿

After he sold his body, for the trauma he used physical pain by stretching his chest. Only if he tried to understand the trauma he would be better. He is a character who feels good unless everything is going as he wants. When guts defeated him his personality breaks and be did the princess.and there is actually more to Griffith character but at first he seems like a good character. 😄😅

The main reason why he chose to sacrifice is his guilt and self-hatred that he has been carrying for a long time in pursuit of his dream. The god hands just validated everything that he feels about himself. thats why in his mind, theres no other choice but to sacrifice even if it means sacrificing his first true friend Guts. thats why that "only you made me forget my dream" feels like a confession to me.

Guts had a sense of individuality of himself, he wanted to find his own purpose, so he left the band of hawks, after defeating Griffith in a duel, he left to find his own purpose, and if Griffith was really a intelligent and analytical person he would've let him go and in reality Griffith was just a loser, his dreams and hopes shattered when someone of his group left him, that's just being weak bruh, he wasn't mentally prepared for that, so in my point guts actually did nothing wrong, it was Griffith who lost his cool and at the end Griffith just used his friends like chess pieces, he had no real connections with them, and after the eclipse he basically became a monster with no sense of humanity by sacrificing his whole group, raped casca and tortured guts, in my opinion griffith was just a pussy, if he really valued his group, he wouldn't have sacrificed them and died like a man.
