I love that detail on the Griffon, it reminds me of the griffons from heroes of might and magic. I'm really liking these encounters box sets, reminds me of the old D&D modules that TSR used to put out. I'm also liking the set up to the adventure, I can see these box sets being really useful for beginner DMs. I'm wondering if your gona do a painting tutorial for the griffon

It's such a fun idea to have these little modules that you plug into your existing adventure, and then you can use them as one-shots, spin them off into side quests, or even make them a central part of the narrative. Great stuff. I've been trying to approach these tavern encounters with different ways of doing really quick paint jobs, and I was thinking of coming up with something using Speed Paints for the griffon as I haven't done anything with them for ages.

The smaller miniatures are on 20mm or 25mm bases so they fit on an HeroQuest space. This Griffon and other larger models are on 50mm bases.

Oooh! That is one pretty Griffin! Reminds me of one of my favorite card games. I remember collecting all the Griffin cards from it like Zuberi Golden Feather

@@AlwaysBoardNeverBoring Yeah -- the game very much got away from me. But the Mirage Set? Oh that was pretty sweet. It was like Fantasy Africa with Zebra Unicorns, and so many Elephants... elephants for days!

Great review! Again another nice product from SFG but I wish they would have fixed the creature stat blocks for various encounter levels on the later Encounter Packs. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for watching. I really like these tavern encounters. It's nice to get a villain and a few accessories that help you plug them into any adventure.
