You either can't breath or you scream your lungs out - that's what happens to most passengers on this B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) dive coaster when they are suspended 200 feet (61m) in the air for the first time with nothing between their feet and the ground. That first drop is something else, it’s so much G-force that it completely takes you by surprise, yet the ride is smooth like butter. It’s definitely my #1 favorite!

This ride was FUN! It was my very first dive coaster experience. I got on it with my niece and cousin at night while the fireworks were going off. Quite a nice view at the top! But that drop...OMG. I rode this roller coaster twice. It was even more fun the second time and the best way to end the night! I thought I wasn't going to be able to get on it as earlier, it got stuck at the top. Those people were up there for two hours before they were able to get down. I'm glad the ride was up and running again before we left the park. I rate Griffon as number two out of my top 3 at Busch Gardens!

I remember going to the park just yesterday and this was the first ride i went on while i was trying to face my fears. I then went to alpengeist for my second. It was so much fun the 2nd drop wasnt wxpected at ALL. It really feels like you are about to fall out

man i remember the last time i was at this park, there was either supposed to be rain and there wasn't or there was rain in the morning that stopped, but either way the park was pretty much deserted. so i got to ride the griffon something like 10 times in a row- front row everytime. what a blast!! i'd love to come back someday

Believe it or not, this drop is smaller than the apollos chariot drop. I am also horrified of coasters and neither of these are that bad! They’re really smooth and I think you’ll be surprised by them!

This coaster looks like Yukon Striker from Canada Wonderland. The same station and its platform (bellow the feet). The same gate. The same first hill and that part where the coaster goes to the top and it turns to the right side and the coaster breaks and then it comes the first drop (after a few seconds).

Ah I've checked and Griffon and Yukon were built by the same manufacturer. This is why these rides are alike in most parts.

I'm 39 years old been going to busch since the 80s riding every coaster they had. This one is over the top I rode with my 17 year old daughter I truly felt like I was about to have a heart attack from the butterflies each drop seems like it takes an eternity .on top of feeling like I was gonna die we went to the photo booth afterwards and my dead great grandmother's face appeared in place of my daughter's face in the picture sitting right next to me totally freaked me out never will ride again. If u have fear of heights back problems or weak stomach or any heart problems or if the buttflies hurt you this is not the one for you I promise
