I absolutely loved this when I went to BG the day before yesterday! It’s not too bumpy and leaves you with a floaty feeling that’s strange but wonderful. Unfortunately we didn’t get to ride everything because a good amount of rides were closed and some were too bumpy to ride again like the Alpengeist (which gave me a major headache) but I definitely recommend this one!
My God that looks fun! My son is only seven but loves coasters. He hasn’t been on anything major, a wooden one at Storyland, but he loves it! So happy too, my wife refuses to go on any so I would go alone. Not now! Little man gets a little bigger and we’re doing this!
Daniel Hooper I’m going on it tomorrow. I will say that if he hasn’t been on many large coasters, this might be quite intense for him. But if he is down then go for it
I can't wait to go to Busch Gardens and ride this roller coaster!! It's nice to see that there are a lot of seats and they run 2-3 so hoping no long line and wait for the ride!! I'm hyped!!
gd gaмer123 from another 11 year old, hear's some advice. You feel weightlessness on those drops. Sit in the middle for a smoother ride. Sit in the front row, it's so fun. And the most intense part of the ride are those drops.
+XxRavenwing19xX thx I just thought it's the clue of a dive coaster to look direct to the Grundlage before you fall. The last row haven't any chance 'cause they are not looking down before they drop.
Can someone tell me if this is like scary.? I always love fast roller coasters, but loops aren't my thing. I'm tempting my self to go on a loop next time an go to an amusement park. Is it scary?
No, it's not scary at all...its's awesome! It rides as smooth as butter...no jerks whatsoever. In my opinion, the drops don't feel all that intense as far as the "stomach in the throat" feeling...possibly because the restraints are rather firm without being uncomfortable. It could be the aerodynamics of the design as well. All I can say is that I've been on coasters where I've "felt" the drops far worse than on Griffon. As much as I love Alpengeist at this same park, the ride isn't nearly as smooth...especially if you're on either end of the car. I feel like I need a chiropractor after the corkscrews and cobra roll when I sit on the outside of the car in that one, whereas the Griffon is smooth no matter where I sit. Wish it was longer...but it's worth it!
who in the world rides these. ya i know brave ppl BUT DO YA SEE DA DROP THO!!!!! I'm so fascinated by rollar coasters. I've only been on two. Yep i know. its the one at sea world wen i was young and its the shamu one or:D cheta chase not hunt lol
MythicalStorm16 #Life as a roller coaster enthusiast I do see the drop, it's not that big, yeah it's pretty steep and it has a holding brake but it's just a drop, it's not that scary, in fact it isn't scary at all
This ride is not that scary because I rode the fury 325 at Carowinds it is much bigger and way faster. But this ride still looks really fun I will be going here on a field trip with my school
