This loss and especially the third set of the match is very telling about the whole Dimitrov’s career. Lack of consistency, not strong enough under pressure. Mensik is not in top 50 but he’s young and rising in the ranking. He has beaten players in top 50. He has big serves and excellent backhand. Dimitrov might have made too many errors but a lot of those were under pressure.
