Dee Snyder has been there! I met him there two years ago! He was promoting his new album. Grill Em All is my favorite burger spot ever. I always get the Winger. They have tater Tuesday’s and they’re phenomenal. They also have a burger of the month and those are usually amazing too.
Big the foot was very quiet today. Is he not feeling well? Did you leave him at home? I really enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for taking the time to make them.
So, back in the day, "Grill em' All" was one of my channel's mottos. I stopped using it when the original Grill 'EM All" food trucks appeared. I would LOVE to see you hit some of the great food stops in Koreatown Adam. Cassell's Hamburgers is OLD SCHOOL, and there are some fantastic Korean joints. Some of the best in the country. Check out Gol Tong Chicken, which is very close to Cassell's. This place is a one-man-show... The owner used to produce (and act) in South Korean movies. A fantastic hidden gem. If you do go there, it is literally behind where your GPS takes you, off of the rear parking lot.
Dude ....I've lived 5 minutes from Alhambra all my life, and never knew that was tucked in there behind the Applebees! Guess where I'm going! Thanks for showing even the locals the goodies!
#34 in SoCal Food series. Interesting to name sandwiches for metal bands. Never would have thought to build sandwich with that hot pepper, peanut butter & jelley on what looked like a bun made from what looked like the end of a loaf of French bread... thanks for posting.
Enjoying these. An LA native, that lived in Chicago and spent a lot of time at this plaza in Alhambra, enjoying the videos. A few places I recommend from my local fav's Silverlake / East Hollywood: Boo's Cheesesteak Los Feliz: Fred 62 fresh modern take on classic diner Hollywood Mel's historic / landmark diner
I ve being enjoying your food vlogs that you’ve been doing lately. I think that you can take anything and make an interesting vlog out of it. Great job, as always.
Love this place-and was hoping (against hope?) you may make it out there! Thanks for making these daily posts - we so Look forward to them! Death to false burgers!
Sean was a great addition. I can’t wait to try his burger. Your choice was so .. wholesome....😛 This review reminds me of a great burger place long gone burger place in Hollywood called HAMTONS and they had this on menu P&J and Tabasco.... so incredible yumm.... that added with my late seventies perpetual rocker chick blood.... makes this one a must ... The water carrier is so you can carry more than one.... and it dosnt strangle any sea life should it make its way to a storm drain and out to our ocean. Very environmentally responsible! 😀 thank you. This series is a special one for me and sometime I’ll explain why.
I like his friend. But it needs to be said... California locals (that never leave) Think that everyone in the world 🌎, live in their town. That EVERYONE knows what They are talking about. [I would love to go get your pb&j bacon burger, but you are 2.2k miles away] Orlando locals (that never leave) Think that things that happen in their area, probably don't happen to others around them. Orlando RU-vidr "you guys that don't live in Central Florida probably don't know what the smell of rain is. Wait, do you guys know that smell"?
It's now officially a running gag: A car horn, helicopter or landscaping equipment must interrupt your narration or it just wouldn't be a bonafide Adam The Woo video experience.
We may have been at the same show. They played 4 nights at Long Beach Arena and recorded all of those shows to put together Live After Death. I'd have to check my ticket stub to see what night I was there.
LOL for the 1st time ever in the history of watching The Woo....YES, you have "touched a nerve" @5:09 discussing Winger / Stryper Haha!! That was awesome!! Great video. Thank you so much for sharing these. In a world where getting out and experiencing new things is off the schedule for now (traveling / vacations / etc..), these vlogs are very much appreciated. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Oh oh! You showed a statue of a founding father. I hope his relatives had nothing to do with slaves or they will be coming to remove this piece of history too. 😪
I found 2 ways to keep my glasses from fogging up...first way, put a drop of the blue Dawn soap, it has to be the blue kind, on each side of the glass, rub, rinse, tap dry and voila. the soap makes a chemical film that protects them. Must be done each use. Second, fold a tissue longways so it has a few folds and place inside your mask over your nose with the open folds facing down. The tissue will catch the moisture before it gets to your glasses. Both ways work pretty well.
A tiny bit of shave cream worked into both sides of the lenses with a microfiber cloth is an old trick, also works on mirrors. Shave cream and Dawn are sold at some Dollar Tree stores.
I would love to go to that place. May order one of their t-shirts online! I too was at the same Twisted Sister concert two nights in a row when they opened for Iron Maiden in Long Beach! Great time it was. Winger was kind of "fluff" rock,..but he did play for Alice Cooper! Great vlog,..great eating establishment! (Megadeth is my favorite band!)
I found out about Grill'Em All several years ago when they competed on the Food Network's Food Truck Competition. They use to park their truck at the Food Truck Alley events every Tuesday night at the Car Wash on Reseda and Devonshire. Back then they only specialized in Vegan burgers which were AMAZING.
Adam great place loved the inside decor and your friends shirt and your shirt also your friends take on winger was pretty funny and yes stripes is heavier but I like them both and both your burgers looked superb and I love peanut butter so I might have gone with the one he got but knowing that his had hot sauce on it I’d probably chicken out and get something more like what you got and I must say I’m glad you both loved your burgers 🍔 also I’ve seen a story on the one in Chicago and the owner is a big metal head so the whole time your there they have metal music playing and all the workers have tattoos and I thought how cool is that but I would like to see what Grill Em All is like in full operation so Adam thanks for a tour of Grill Em All very cool and I’ll see you on the next food review vlog adventure also please be safe out there
Great review Adam. You and Sean have such a great chemistry you should do more collabs with him. I am getting the sneaky feeling these food reviews are getting to be rather fun for you too..... :-)
I’m glad your boy finished the burger. Not finishing would be the least metal thing ever. BTW, if he loved Twisted Sister, check out the music of my friend and Dee’s eldest son, Jesse Blaze Snider!
The benches outside are in the style of Spanish architect/designer Antoni Gaudi. You can see many examples in Barcelona. Guess it makes sense that they would be in Alhambra.
Love the choice today...since it's metal themed, it might interest you to know that the drummer of Iron Maiden, Nicko McBrain owns a BBQ rib place in Coconut creek Florida about 30 miles north of Miami. He's frequently there and puts on block parties with other musicians in the parking lot. Super cool guy. Take care Adam.
Hey 👋 Adam! Broke The 😎 Oops! I’m Up Early Looking Forward To Today’s Episode as Usual. Just wanted to give you a heads up. Minty Comedic 🎭 Arts Channel just put out a few minutes agoanother Great Episode! “10 things you don’t know about, PULP FICTION”!!! Yeah! Now That’s a 🍿 Movie. Maybe You Could Do An Episode of Movie Locations. “”Monster Joe’s” Anyone. Get Out Of the Sticks, Gentlemen. Thnx! CJ
I love how there’s a KNAC bumper sticker on the counter. KNAC was a metal station that played throughout the 80s and early 90s. It got replaced in 1995 by a Mexican station called que buena (We have way too many of those stations in SoCal). They still exist as an internet station through the TuneIn app
Hey 👋 Adam! That Was A Fun Episode! Water in A Can is Kind of Genius. You Look a lot Cooler & it’s easier to recycle. Studies say plastic bleeds into the beverage. News yesterday, Coney Island Hot Dog 🌭 Eating Contest will take place with only 5 of the Top Eating Experts & No Crowd. Joey Chestnut will be there to defend. His record 76 Hotdogs In 10 Minutes. He Also holds the record at The Big Texan in Amarillo. 8 1/2 Minutes. Maybe You Guys Could Take Us to Kuma’s? Never heard of them. Thnx! CJ
What is in liquid Death water? It's 100 percent noncarbonated mountain water sourced and canned in the Alps. No flavoring but with a slightly alkaline pH of 8.2. It's the latest venture from former Netflix creative director Mike Cessario, a product designed to resonate with “extreme” straight-edged punk crowds that eschew alcohol and drugs.May 7, 2019
Be Careful when corresponding with Professor Fil on The Wings of Pegasus Channel. He’s a Young Guy who Loves Winger. My memory is watching Beavis & Butthead. Metallica, AC/DC & their friend with the Winger T-Shirt. Mike Judge is a Genius! It’s Long Way From Idaho! We’ll keep it in Mind. I’d Like to try a Dee Snyder! Thnx You Guys! CJ
A Twirl & A Kick! Spandex, bare chested Rocker! Nice. & We Thought the Woo was an English Punk Rocker? Old Age setting in. I Bet You Lose Your Sunglasses 😎 Today you old fart. What Happened? Thnx! CJ
Hey, you're dressed like me now hehe. I really like this episode, more so than the other ones I guess because I feel I could connect much more, being kind of like death and such hehe. Well what I really mean is hardcore. I like anything hardcore, NEVER lukewarm. You gotta go all the way with anything and everything in life. I don't care if it's a job you're working at (they will love you for it and hate you at the same time) or if you're an AdamTheWoo esk type of character making videos. Go hardcore all the way! I like hardcore rap like TECH N9NE and he's totally death metal, I like metal music. I guess it's why I enjoyed this episode so much plus literally today will be my 4th day eating cheese burgers for dinner hehe. I cooked 4 of them on Monday and I've been eating one every night with french fries hehe. I'm bought a camera n such. I'm going to go hardcore with it, I start vacation time tomorrow, this lock down makes it hard but hey gotta be something to do in ol' central Florida. I'm going to have a new account at some point so If you're reading these comments you may see my name vanish into the vast void but a new name will appear every upload hehe.
Nice Timing . I just got done watching: TDW 1592 - Dillinger's Fake Jailbreak Weapon . Awesome Morning so far for me . I hope Yours is going Great as well . Have a Amazing Day 😎
Really enjoyed this episode! Sean is cool. I was never a huge metal fan BUT I know of Winger and their rep as a bit of a wussy band because that kid Stuart Stevenson on Beavis & Butthead always wore a winger shirt! 😄 and I approve of the Stryper opinions too!
