I spent 3 weeks grilling without my chimney this year because my wife tossed it :|. It's easy enough to start by just rolling up some paper towel and putting a small amount of olive oil on it to turn on one of the coals, which will turn on the rest. It takes so much longer than a chimney though. Got another and now I'm back to enjoying myself.

@@Che1seabluesdrogba11 My preferred method: 1.Soak a couple of paper towels in vegetable oil. 2.Place the soaked paper towels in the bottom of the grate build a Teepee of charcoal around the paper towels. 3.Light the paper towels and wait 20ish minutes. DO NOT COVER IT WHILE IT IS STILL LIGHTING! 4 After 20 minutes you should have red hot coals. Spread them out on one half of your grill so that you now have a hot side and a cold side. 5.Place the grill grate over the coals and put the top on with the vent holes over the cold side of your grill (this creates airflow that makes it act like a convection oven). After five minutes you should be ready to grill.

Look for someone who does not know how a grill works, that would seem to make sense! Man make fire, fire cook food. That's basic math. The concept of cooking over coals is something you actually have to *learn*, and I guess Wubby grew up without a back yard or some shit. But it makes for better TV anyway, so fuck it. Drizzle more of that Zippo fluid over your tongs boy, we call that "The Devil's Marinade".
