He should have won, I recognised his voice as soon as I heard Grim Reaper sing. I have loved Darren Hayes since 1997 and to know he is finally able to be his true authentic self is everything. No matter what, this guy will forever be one of my all-time favourite artists. You are extraordinary, Darren Hayes. We love you.
He deserved to win. What a beautiful, talented, gracious man. So glad i got to see him perform and speak to him again after so many years. He is an incredible person and a winner in my book ❤
Abbie's scream is absolutely everything. I adore her. And I have loved Darren Hayes since I got Savage Garden's debut album in 1997 and I have never stopped loving him.

Omg, Darren. Your voice is so amazing. I am so happy you are back and reminding us of why we fell in love with your voice in the 90s. You were such a humble person saying “I sing”. We all have our special talents, yours just happens to be an extraordinary talent. That was heartbreaking to hear you say you hated yourself for being gay. You are who you are, regardless of who you love. It must have been so difficult for you back then, but you are back. Congratulations on your return to music in Australia.
Savage Garden was the only concert I ever went to. I recognised his voice as soon as I heard it...its unique and so beautiful. My best friend went to the same high school as him. Said he was a geek...just hanging in the music room every lunch time playing his music.
Apart from Darren, there was only one guess in mind for me, and that was Chris Sebastian from the Voice 2020. The reason for that is because in one of his clues in somewhere close to the end, his said something about living in the shadow of his older brother and Chris was under Guy’s shadow for so long all the way until he won the Voice. And also, Jesse Teinaki was on the same season as Chris as an all star and sang Grim Reaper’s first performance in his blind audition. Yes, it makes more sense it was Darren, but it could’ve been Chris Sebastian for these reasons.

The reason Grim Reaper lost is that he usually pick either song choices that don't fit his voice or pick song choices that aren't exciting. He had like 2 exceptions
Yeah I thought he'd win. How could he not win?! He has one of the best voices Australia has ever had. His falsetto is amazing, and used with such control, it is never too much and leaves you wanting more.
They are not on friendly terms after what Daniel did. They have come to peace with eachother but they will never get back together. People need to stop insisting to that to Darren.
