Another cracking battle report. Nice to see the HDF tabling their opponent. Really loving this campaign. I have been watching these while painting up my Robot Legions, for inspiration. Your commentary is excellent. Matter of fact, for the most part, with a touch of incredulity when something unusual happens. Very calming, actually. Your content is one of few that I genuinely, actively, wait for each week, as I am invested in what happens to the different forces. Thank you for another great battle report. Love how the campaign is progressing. Just a note @ 56:00 you forgot 1 xp for the snipers as they survived the battle (it won't change anything for the campaign)
@@sadandlonelygamer Oh I agree on that 100%, I believe OPA wanted all vehicles to be at least tough 6, but yeah, that dingy little quad is barely a vehicle
I enjoy the content a ton but watching through these I notice you use the cult way too aggressively and run them at gun lines like orks. Nothing against ya but that’s definitely not the way they were designed
Thanks. I think it's mainly because I use them in 40K and generally do quite well with them but they are very different in Grimdark Future and I haven't managed to adjust yet
Love watching these. OPR is easy to follow and I love the campaign format. Very classic Guard story arc, clawing their way back from the brink. I think HDF infantry hitting things on a 5+ is pretty brutal, the same accuracy l as Orcs. And what's especially odd is the tanks hit on 4s. Do you find weapon ranges being limited to 36" and under to be an issue? I instinctively rebel against that relatively recent change to OPR, but I think it may not be as big a deal on the table as I think it is. I may never be able to accept the 36" range deathstrike missile though...
@@jacobdale2314 Sometimes you definitely recognise it. In these battle reports, the one that keeps getting me is 36" range mortars for the Human Defence Forces, and the 36" range on the battle cannon for the tank
