The first time I ever heard a Grimes song was at a Lana Del Rey concert. She was the opening act, and my friend and I had never heard of her before. We heard this live and it blew my mind and took me to another realm. It was cold and raining, and the people around me got up and began frolicking in the rain in their different colored ponchos and flower crowns. I will never forget that. (it was at Tinley Park if anyone else was there)

I first heard this about a year ago in some restaurant, loving the song so much, I didn't think to take my phone out and Shazam it. I tried looking for hours that day, searching "my heart will never die" on Google and even calling up the restaurant to find out which radio station they were playing (turned out to be a playlist). As soon as I heard a Grimes song earlier on, I knew they sang the song they were looking for so I went through Spotify and finally found it.

Apparently, she made this whole thing in garage band. It just goes to show you there's beauty in simplicity when it comes to music.
