A couple of extra things. 1. the game right now is actually fairly short, only 5-7 hours, but more areas are planned for the future. 2. the stronger enemies can be killed easily by stabbing them in an unarmoured area, for the plate armour knight their upper legs are unprotected and the archers die if you stab them in the head. 3. you can not just craft weapons but you can also find them laying around the world, I played the entire game using the hammer I randomly found. and lastly, most bosses and enemies focus heavily on parrying, and if you keep parrying a boss and keep hitting you can fill their stun bar which either stuns them or knocks off a piece of armour massively increasing the damage you can do.
Lol that stab in the head with a Jump towards the enemy takes most of them right out..I try and not do that to enjoy the combat experience but it's kinda funny sometimes.
Well, you've earned yourself another subscriber. Good video, good reviewing. Entertaining to watch. I have to say though, you sound alot like General Sam lol.
i got to play this back in early alpha. had a blast with it but dear GAWD is it exhausting! also, yer poor digi-double is just gonna get rekt every week aint it? poor guy. hope yer payin him well! xD
I found that players who want to exploit the games mechanics will try to do it from the start and others who have an idea in mind of how they want to play will stick to that idea even if that means struggling a bit more. Imo it's more fun to struggle then to cheese through the game.
Bruh it doesn’t force you to find exploits lol. It’s like dark souls in the sense that you can choose your own difficulty by choosing to use or not use op things or in the case of this game literally turning on easy mode if you find it too difficult to be fun
@@plugshirt1762 by exploits I mean like shaking your sword rapidly at the enemy to do damage the quickest as opposed to swinging it like a real sword with weight.
@@VirtualBroVR I know I’m saying you can play it that way if you want it will just end up being a less fun experience for the most part for most people at least
Is it just me or is there a genuine lack of combat-based games like this? There's 4 flagship titles for the most part on Quest 2, I feel like it's a hugely untouched genre
It does doesn't it? and then people will say that its an overcrowded genre somehow??? Like dude we got B&S, Grimlord, Battle Talent... annnd I can't really think of anything else, Gorn maybe? Situation on PCVR seems to largely be the same bar some titles on there like Hellsplit
doesnt work on htc vive pro, character cant hold weapons properly because the yaren't aligned with controllers (they are pointing at you instead). Also run doesn't work on htc vive pro as well.
Game is unplayable on quest 3 because for some reason the wrist/hand angle doesn't line up with with your actual hands IRL so you have to bend your arms in weird way to be able to fight. 0/10, refunded.
