Meisner has his Obi-Wan moment to bring Renard back to the...sort of...kind of light side. Except Renard has really always only been in it for himself and just tolerated the others since they were useful and weren't plotting against him and now he's just sort of back to that. Yay team!

As far as staying at a hotel for 3 months.... the manager mentioned it's not the "Deluxe." Really old and run down hotels can be so cheap that they can be somewhat "affordable" for staying at long term. Low-income people frequently have trouble passing credit/income checks for apartment leases. Hotels don't do those checks on guests. Following along: because there's no lease, it's much easier to remove/evict hotel guests than renters. Also, I believe all of the secret passages are a reference to H.H. Holmes and his murder castle.

Next episode is awesome! And yes, this season has a great balance between the fun & the tension. I really wish Grimm had more seasons, it's one of the shows that continually gets brought up for a return among fans, however the creators are quite satisfied with what they've made. To be fair, I've rewatched Grimm a few times & I always love it so shouldn't complain. Kelly doesn't have to be especially special btw, you're getting caught up in Diana's birth but she's special even in terms of the Wesen, but you've got to remember that the way to destroy a Hexenbiest is with a Grimm's blood so I have no idea if their blood blending will destroy the Hexenbiest power or if mixing bloodlines & consuming blood makes a difference in impact.

the manager most likely knew the alps and knew what she was doing but at the same time attack nick because a random grim come in the place and came looking for a fight. He most likely feel threaten and try to attack him to protect himself... so nick just kill the manager because he was defending himself against a grim... Nick most likely murder someone... for no reason and if it was not obvious enough the old man was a red herring... literally a red herring wesen... which make sense since you keep saying it's the old man.

Hey, according to me it was Meisner’s ghost and once Renard made up his mind to give up on black claw he actually helped him as a ghost instead of haunting him. I mean they didn’t explain it but the ghost in their reality must have some control or power.
