The Brothers Grimm always remind me of my two daughters and how wonderful it was to raise them

It’s really nice to understand who collected these iconic stories. They led interesting lives.

My favorite fairy tale is little red riding hood and it is awesome my favorite part of the story is the big bad wolf eats her grandma and little red riding hood and it is awesome and amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤

6:31 hmm... i'd say The 2 Brothers. the story has the protagonist falling in love with and marrying a girl (happily ever after, basically); and it has a fire-breathing dragon.

The Brothers Grimm wrote quite dark fairy tales. They then became Disney movies, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Tangled, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and the Princess and the Frog for instance. There’s also a dark fantasy adventure movie that features Matt Damon and Heath Ledger, the Brothers Grimm movie shows the two writers as con men who become heroes when they face a genuine fairy tale curse in an enchanted forest outside a small German village. The brothers travel to the forest and learned that an immortal queen is kidnapping twelve young girls from their village by using such evil grotesque spells like magic spiders that a horse can swallow one of the girls and take her to the queen, a werewolf stealing another one, a mud monster that would steal a girl’s face and then turn into a gingerbread cookie to take the girl into a well. The Brothers Grimm were great fairy tale writers in Germany.

I just finished the grimm series.

I've always been endeared to the Grimn's Fairy Tales. Little Red Riding Hood was one that was revisited in a ccllege English course as a cautionary tale of dangers and specifically the dangers of child molesters. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on that angle. Pray do tell. Thanks & peace out.

Gets you thinking how these stories/tales were originally I mean I'm only aware of most through Disney as a kid and that must of further tweaked and changed the source material. Know I had to be informed by a German none the less of Rose Red Snow Whites Sister.......didn't have a clue about her before else

I find the old Grimm stories less scary than the native myths.

I know some Grimm fairy tales like Snow White, Rapunzel, the Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, and Rumplestiltskin. Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella were French I think but the Brothers Grimm must’ve borrowed them for German readers.
