Grimoire: About My Book of Methods and a Flip-Through 

By far, this is THE best grimoire video on RU-vid. Wow! Mind blown.

I have to admit you are the most dedicated practitioner on RU-vid. The work alone you have put into your book shows your true character and lifestyle. Most practice for fun or because it's cool. But you live your craft. And that to me is the most awesome thing to see. I wish I had the time and patience to make a book as stunning. But I give you a lot of respect and bow in honor to your teachings.

This is what a grimoire should be. Not historically - because, of course they were just grammar books for magic instead of spelling and reading - but mythically, spiritually. A grimoire should be a guide that grows with you, a friend that holds your secrets, a guardian that destroys your enemies, a healer. A grimoire should be like a familiar in book form. That's really what everyone wants, and it's what popular culture has taught us a grimoire ought to be. You're the first person I've seen that's actually managed to make that a reality! Such an inspiration!

How are you a real person? lol I mean that in the most respectful, admiring way possible. I'm just... At a loss for words and can't seem to wrap my mind around the fact that this was all done freehand. 😍🙌🏻

Oh my goodness, this is beautiful! I've never seen a grimoire video like this and it so elegantly expresses the heart of magic in any tradition. I don't have any connection to Tao or really any eastern beliefs, but as you point out, there is a base spirituality that transcends whatever face we've put to it, so I will definitely put your book on my "to read" list! The Tao of Craft is an amazing book. It was one of my first magical books and continues to be a good resource for me. Someday I want to take one of your classes. I also enjoy your RU-vid channel.

In a way it makes more sense to Not have a table of contents, numbered pages, etc. as they creates distinctions and separates one thing from the other. As a 'living talisman' however, the cohesion, unity and disbursement of randomly placed entries makes it more nebulous and difficult to define, contributing to the book's personality in an unpredictable and exploitative way.

Your book and your work is legendary and I agree seeing other paths leads to a more whole being. From your Muslim spirit brother 🙏

I too am writing a Teomoxtli / Grimoire / Journaling my journey upon the Tlalocan (realms of higher states of consciousness that my Nahua ancestors experienced prior to European colonization). I also was contacted by beings to share my journey so being naturally introverted, I opted to share it through my Teomoxtli. But as you say, truth much like science transcends percieved cultural boundaries & so as an indigenous person of Abya Yala (the "Americas") I know too well the way it feels to see pieces of your heritage fetishized / exotified but today my beloved Pixan Atan (spirit guide) took me by the hand & thus flipped to pages 267 - 270 from your book (which just came in by mail today btw) & on page 269 where you say that "the key to blending traditions is respect" well, that definitely resonated with me so I wanted to express gratitude for this is something of big step in my own path & I am encouraged by your work to continue my Teomoxtli & hope to communicate eloquently as you have my own people's teachings for the 7th generationa as many of our peoples have slowly succumbed to the assimilation process that was imposed upon us with the arrival of European colonization. I'm incorporating elements of Onmyo to my existing system, specifically ofuda / fu talismans. It is rather difficult finding any information on Taoism, beyond the Tao Te Ching, in the Western world. I'm currently reading your Tao of Craft book. I've finished the main part of the book, only the Appendixes left to go. It's the most impressive book that I've read in a long time. I'll definitely be putting it into practice. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in Taoism or craft work.
