Magnifique, et, pour une fois, bien commenté, ce qui n'est pas si fréquent sur RU-vid ! La vidéo est très bien tournée et le paysage est de tout beauté. Bravo et merci !
I love your videos so much. Visited Switzerland decades ago on a High School trip.I will never forget this part of the trip. There are no words to describe the sheer beauty 😍
Thank you for another absolutely beautiful video! This one reminded me of winter trips I used to make up to Kleine Scheidegg! One thing surprised me. When you filmed the Jungfraubahn part of the station, I was struck by the absence of waiting passengers. And when a Jugfraubahn train arrived, it was two carriages (not four) and not full. I can think of two possible reasons for this. Firstly, the continued absence of tourists from the Far East. Secondly, the new cable car from Grindelwald to Eigergletscher.
You are most welcome! It wasn’t two carriages train that I boarded and shot this video. If you watch carefully, you can see all the coaches (six) of the train in this video.
@@AKSense Sorry, I did not make myself clear! I have now edited my comment to make it clear that the 2-car train I referred to is a Jungfraubahn train. (I realised tat the train you were travelling on had six cars.)
Beautiful video work as always! What's impressive is the lack of window reflections! I'm now "stuck" in Lausanne but would loove to go sledding in the area. Do you think there is enough snow to take a sled down from First or somewhere similar?
Many thanks for your kind feedback! I would definitely recommend going to Grindelwald FIRST for sledging. There was enough snow until last week. Next weekend, it will be snowing again there.
I did this journey in the 1960's. Cost of Cosmos coach tour £36 with only £30 spending money due to Harold Wilson's orders. Glad it was in summer though! Still got my Jungfrau badge.
Hi. Excellent video. Quick question as I’ll be doing this trip next year. The train you boarded at Grindlewald, did you stay on this train at Grindlewald Grund or switch to a different train to get to KleinSch? Assuming it was the same train (Grindlewald-Grindlewald grund-KleinSch, does the train turn around at Grindlewald Grund or go in front ways and come out rear ways? Thanks for your help
Glad you enjoyed this video. If you want to go to Kleine Scheidegg from Grindelwald, you don’t change to any other train at Grund station. At Grund station, rear side of the train becomes the front side.
Could not determine WHEN this was taken by means of snowfall, early winter or late. Temps were cold and crunchy when watching how people navigated around the train but still could not pin down a seasonal time frame. Forgot that many areas had drought conditions and did not have snow. This reminder came back when looking at the film date of February. Normally lots of snow but this year: not. Aja. Wenig diesmal.
