Hey DF. Long time watcher, first time commenting. With this game, the first unlock for all weapons is at level 10 than every 50th level there after unlocks something else. It's always best to level everything up as high as possible, in groups of 50, as there are tons of little things and achievements unlocked that really boost your CpS and such. Hey df here are some tips to help you play better! 1. Always purchase all upgrades that increase the amounts of souls you gain, the soul grind is painful. 2. Purchase lower level equipment ALWAYS, that 16% cps boost you got... could easily become a 1600% boost! 3. Different portal areas have different monsters and different soul amounts! 4.purchase all upgrades, even small ones help. Hopefully he sees this, it will make him better at the game.

Maxing your equipment is very useful for 3 reasons. Occasionally you get an equipment bonus for a random piece of equipment. It locks your bonus at the level that piece was at as it is triggered, meaning upgrading it while it's active does nothing to increase the benefits of that bonus. And secondly. Later in the game some of your equipment, such as the bow, will be used as a weapon. I'm pretty sure having it upgraded increases it's damage, though I haven't gotten to this point yet to confirm my theory. And Thirdly, upgrading the equipment unlocks achievements. Several upgrades and ascension upgrades are more beneficial the more achievements are unlocked. I even went through the achievement list and did the weird ones like the super high jump and have a coin chase me for 10 seconds, for the little bit of extra buff those achievements will add.

thank you for getting me addicted to another game. for that I have to give you a game to play that I found addictive for you to play lol I haven't really seen people play it so much on RU-vid but the dev is updating the game every 2 weeks. His also been getting peoples ideas of what they want to see in the game which is nice to see from a game dev. Its called Green Project. Its on steam and on the play store. It's not expensive either. I would love to see you play it if you have the time also would be nice to see the dev get recognition for the time his putting in developing the game and communicating with the players as well. DF you're killing me! Try upgrading the levels of ALL your tools not just the bigger ones. The more you level them up, the more upgrades you unlock which will help you collect more coins and souls

Huh... To the people that are playing this game on steam. You can use the Right mouse button to activate sprint. No need for you to drag your mouse to the button and then click it like a normal person.

If you upgrade the armor peices, eventually you get coin magnet upgrades and range upgrades for the magnet

This game does encourage you to keep ascending to get a higher CpS bonus, so you do end up getting up to gloves and other things faster.

Played the game after watched his first video. It's a fun game unless you're in a hurry. There are some slow spot in the game and it feels like not progressing, especially early game. Some tips, get the big soul boost upgrades as soon as you have enough slayers point. Then aim for extra cps per achievement, i think it cost 800. Then aim for boost upgrades, double coins/souls while using boost, reduce cd by 2% for each coin. That should get you out of early game. Also after you use the portal, you would want to use it again until you're back to hill map, the giant gives a lot of soul.

I’ve been playing this game for over a month, I’m at that cursed glove that costs more than you make in half an hour. Luckily I recently got passed that problem.

This game is a longer idle game then normal... so skip time! Change the date on your pc and you get 72 hours worth of coins if you skip 3 days. (You might have to reload the game) Most important slayer bonuses are: Soul reaper and soul reaper 2 They increase the amount of souls you gather by 1,25% for each slayer point you have gathered. (Both bonuses combined) My Soul reaper 1 and 2 are up to nearly 10 million % and highest amount of slayer points I have gathered in one run is 3 million. I have noticed that amount of souls you get decreases more you change the date. Next most important are Sword edge, dagger edge and axe edge. (Sword edge being a top priority. You can have higher levels of it quicker then the other 2) Also unlock the portal as fast as possible. If you are planning to use the time skipping strategy, use the portal to go to “Modern city”. That’ll give you the highest amount of souls when you are skipping time. When you get to it unlock mystic valley, and stay there instead of the modern city it gives a bit more. And when you get to it unlock Factory, it gives lot more. Oh, minions are fucking useless! Use them only for Divinities. Don’t worry! Even by cheating I couldn’t get to the next upgrade!!! It sucks!

People who buy levels one at a time and not in batches of 10 are absolute monsters. Edit: It's important to level up your lesser equipment (sword, shield, etc) because it unlocks achievements for doing so, and there are multiple upgrades that give you bonus CpS based on how many achievements you have unlocked, and there's an achievement for each item every 50 levels. You should work in batches of 10 and upgrade everything from least expensive to most expensive as it becomes available.

The most important part of upgrading your weapons is the achievements. Many of your bonuses are based around % boost of cps per amount of achievements unlocked. So more achievements equals bigger boost overall. Other than that they really don't do much as far as your overall cps...

DF so slow, i picked up this game a few days after his first vid and I'm at gloves shortly after ascending, working on minions. Gloves is 60,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 i think. Also, ascending with a coin bonus is crazy good. 9x coins (or more from silver) rolls over past ascension and massively speeds things up. Would recommend.

You should try to look trough achievements. Just look at when you bought all those swords you got quite a decent jump in cps due to achievements Also some upgrades are locked behind item levels (magnet behind armour, better boost behind shoes) And portals just give an area with different enemies Silver boxes give better rewards, hordes are bigger, frenzies have more coins. Cps boosts are 18x instead of 9x

This brings me nostalgic memories of Pixel Kingdom by Kongregate. I’m not sure why but it just does.
