CaLMCee I don't think you understand how deep that line actually goes. To understand that line, you need to know what the Unix OS is. Once you know what Unix is, you'll know Apple's operating systems, both mobile and on their computers are based on Unix. That is why Unix syntax works in the Apple operating systems command terminal. Apple copied Unix then branded it as their own. Now I have no idea if Con meant it to go that deep, but damn.
The illest bar concieted said was "Mac running through Windows". That got him the battle and the way he used illmacs name and twisted it around in so many sublimenal ways was unbelievable!!! Best battle since Arsonal vs conceited. Concieted number 1 now and still my favorite!!!
At the time this battle changed the way rap battle was going from the good multi-syllable freestyles to just going bar for bar with hard writtens. Classic battle
Ill is crazy wit his lyrics while Con is more witty and funny with his. I feel that Con isn't the most intimidating person in the game, but he can slither his way into his opponents mind lyrically.
“I could hit you with a knife, or a gun (Oregon) like the state you from” totally went over heads. Grindtime was too fixated on rhyme patterns and wasn’t ready for that Smack/Conceited/Daylyt style of double entendres, wordplay, and schemes.
One of the best battles of all time. Ill mac would've taken out most emcees with this, conceited just had an amazing performance, so many name flips, jokes, bars.
Nobody's tripping. The only people tripping are the people calling it a body. This was in no way a clear win. Unless you're one of the people that went crazy for "I'm hotter than a heatwave". Half of Con's lines was corny 3rd grade level writing.

@@dominicharris5489 honestly if Con stayed hungry and consistent in battle rap he would go with the best of him. I think when he got on Wildn Out he lost the hunger and started playing around in his last battles cuz he was ahead of the game and could of easily adjusted to what the culture wants today. This battle was back when Con was serious
I saw this the week it came out and it was shocking. IllMac was considered top tier in the league., He had won the world rap championship and scribble jam. Then Conceited came in and made him look like low mid tier. It was like a changing of the guards.
this was even crazier to watch live. Conceited literally came out of nowhere and handled perhaps one of the greatest battle rappers of our time like it was nothing.
I mean to be fair Ill actually had improv in a lot more of his. You could tell he was trying to be in the moment and actually respond to Conceited's lines and delivery. Conceited had a lot of clever punches and charisma, but he obviously went home and wrote everything beforehand. Rarely does he directly respond to Ill's disses or flip them, he just goes after a pre-written agenda.

This was classic Conceited! Before the slow it down. He literally would punch line his opponent to death. Many rappers at this time didn't know how to deal with this style either. Punch lining wasn't as defined and well oiled as it is today. To add some salt to that, Con was the best at it during this era. It would be like facing a southpaw in boxing thats world class.
How could illmac have had such a brilliant performance against dizaster back in this time period , then had this horrible go of it. I don’t think he said one clever thing this whole battle.
This did not age well for Con. He'd get booed out of the building with this shit today. Have illmac 2-1, Con taking the third, even with the awful setups.
Never and never again would Illmac lose against Conceited, that dude is washed-up and corny right now. In fact Illmac should not have lost, Illmac had better bars, Con was more entertaining.
