Glad to hear surgery went well for your daughter, Jodi. Yay! Acrylic is a great go-to yarn for stuff that needs laundered every little whipstitch. I am almost done with the skinny stripes on my 3color cashmere shawl and will be starting the 3rd color soon! The Nomadic Yarns colors look fun for socks. Pretty Hydrangea Bloom colorway. :-) Vivid sparklies!! I love sparkly yarn.
Best wishes to Page ... I hope she is having a quick recovery!!I have been trying to get caught up to the rest of your followers. My new obsession to podcast viewing is even interrupting my knitflix time ... I am know knitpodding. Love you girls!!
happy mothers day I have to I love you ladies and I admire your relationship I crochet but after watching so many videos of you I want to learn so I am learning thank you so much
Hello lady’s and friends! I started knitting 6months ago and preciously I’m a Mixed Media Artist. Love Love Loving working with all the colored fibers. So happy to have fallen upon your podcast 😀 I grew up in Edmonton and now live just outside of Fort Saskatchewan. How amazing to see local artists. You 2 are just amazeballz. Hope to meet you in person soon! Sounds so stalkerish 🤣
loved everything about your show today . Jodi I want to say thoughts and prayers are going out to your daughters recovery . to both of you ... your hair looks great . Jodi I also got your silver bag today and just in love with it. I think I'll need another . have a great weekend and week ahead lady's.
I just love watching you guys! I'm also excited to know you embrace acrylic. It definitely has a place in my stash for gifts for those who you don't know if they will take care of wool, kids, etc. And there is some gorgeous yarns and colours. Not that I don't embrace wool as well lol!
Loved the podcast. You girls are great. Looks like the internet trolls have been on doing the thumbs down. They obviously didn't even watch the podcast because you girls are great!!
JODI! You are so hatagenic! I love the synchronized tee drinking too. You guys are so funny. Ozzy is so fun. I really love it when he comes to say hi. Oh the notions was a fun thing. I enjoyed looking up the things you showed online to order. *bless you Ozzy* I just realized that Jodi likes skulls. I bought the fish lips kiss pattern last night while watching your episode 5. Tracie, my oldest son was 22 in April. He makes me feel so old lol
Ok, I just discovered you guys and you are seriously awesome. I mean, I was GLUED to the computer watching your podcast. And you're Canadian to boot! Loved the "taking a sip from our matching mugs" moment at the end. Keep doing what you do!!
Jodi treat yo self..another great podcast...Tracy..so fabulous! Your smile is infectious so cute. Keeps me coming back. Your a treat to watch. All the love from us here in Ireland.
Hello you girls great show love love loved it!! Brought tears to my eyes as well for the help the community has given to someone who is in need still sending up prayers for her also. Well sorry to say I am not in the knit along of the 3 color shawl because my puppy got into my yarn how I am still not sure but I have spend 2 days crying over this she tore up 7 skeins of my lovely yarn. SO needless to say I am having trouble getting it back together it has become a large mess of inter tangles mess so with that I have to back out until I can buy more yarn. Have a great weekend knit some loveliness for me ohh and she got ahold of my socks and chewed a needle cord. 7 months old and not a happy woman am I so tore up my heart is broken.
I know this podcast is older but I just found you two and get such a kick out of you both. I was compelled to comment because I absolutely LOVE Arne and Carlos as well. I just adore and am addicted to the colors of their yarns
Tracie, your Haven yarn spoke to me and it’s definitely supposed to be a shawl. Just sayin’... And I loved it when you tiffed about who buys the most yarn. Don’t you know there’s no rules about buying yarn???😂 The Notions examination and review was my fav part today. 🧶🧶
hello, hello, from Calgary. really enjoyed the podcast as always and especially the notions pouch talk: I must get the highlighter tape, the pocket scale, and especially the longer cable/stitch holder--I'm always dropping stitches when I try on my sweaters and wishing someone made one of these!
OMG. This episode was laugh out loud funny. I'm going to have to watch it again because I missed a lot of very important "stuff". I know I can get the show notes but I prefer it straight from the horses mouth. Each episode has been "shut the front door" great. Keep 'em comin' Cheers. Christine.
hahaha you two are a hoot!!! love your podcast. and what a great ending lol. I'm a Yarn snob, but also use acrylic when making kids and items on my knitting machine. its ok to be both in my humble opinion 😀 keep on podcasting!!!!
Oh, my goodness....you two are just GREAT! I was sitting here last night catching up on some of your unwatched podcast episodes. I was being a good wife...my husband was wanting to watching something on tv I was not interested in...so I was watching on my IPad with my earbuds. Every time you inserted addition audible "extras" (applause, clapping, cheering, etc) the sound would come into my earbuds EXTRA loud and would make me jump every time! My husband kept looking over at me and I would act like nothing was going on...lol. I was binge watching episodes and he ended up going to bed. Me, being the good wife that I am, continued listening with my earbuds so that his sleep was not bothered. Again...EVERY TIME the sound effects were inserted -scared the crap out of me and I would jump and be startled untill I realized it was just part of the episode. Nothing like sitting by yourself, laughing at yourself for over reacting...I think I almost pee'd myself. Thanks again for the good times!
I’m new to your podcast and I started from #1 like two days ago. I’m knitting a flax sweater while watching and it just seems like projects move faster when watching a podcast. Lol. But I am loving you all. Your so sweet and funny. I learned of you all from Budget Knitter.
Tracie, just had to laugh about Ravenclaw sorting... I was sorted into Ravenclaw too and like yourself was a little peeved at first - so I did try again (wee cheater!) under another email - guess what - Raveclaw again!! So embracing it now and do like the blue/gold and the eagle.
Just found your podcasts a short time ago and love them. I love all of your projects and beautiful yarn choices! Love the crocheted hats Jodi. Looked through episode notes but don't see any patterns listed for them. Wondering if you did use a pattern for any of them if you can provide the name or designer. Thanks.
Okay I know this podcast is from a while ago BUT…. Dying to know if you have ever tried the Kollage Square needles. They are Canadian made (which I think we should all support). Yes they are pricy… but I LOVE them. Their full collection have super soft and stiff cords of each size.
Fabulous podcast...and where did you get those mugs at the end of the podcast? Absolutely hilarious. You two are such fun. I have March 18 marked on my calendar Jodi -- must have some of your gorgeous project bags. Already looking forward to your next podcast!
Jodi, I've visited your Etsy shop a few times now and there are no items listed. Where can I purchase a bag? (I'm typing this as you are discussing sock tawk so if you mention news about MrsBrownsBags, I apologize for asking.). Love the podcast!!!
Hi me and my mom started watching your videos and we love it! We live in Virginia and I'm twelve and like to knit. I think the mini skeins are very cute but what do you make with them?
hello Jodi & Tracie.... The Ravenclaw house is know for intelligence. Luna is a Ravenclaw. I wanted to be Ravenclaw. Jodi am sending healing vibes to your girl 💜 Another great show, thanks for being my spirit animal kindred hearts . United in Yarn
Hello, Ladies!!! I'm looking for the little scale at Lee Valley tools (Jan/18), but, I can't find it. Do you know if it's discontinued? Or, conversely, when did you buy it? Thanks! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! you guys!!!!!
Hey Girls! Discovered you two a while back. Now I am binge watching your videos while recovering from knee surgery. Totally love you! Not a knitter, but am a total crochet whore. Subscribed so I won't miss you. Thanks for all the yarn porn.❤
