Oh Tracy you are a legend! Naming a future merlot coloured yarn for Autumn that Jody can dye calling it "Don't Be So Winey" 🍷 Perfect!! Absolutely love you girls ❤ Susannah, Perth
I came to KCC by myself from Minnesota. And I met a group of friends who were knitters from southern Saskatchewan (and Calgary). They were teachers and great women and made me feel very welcome!
Love the joy and excitement you girls share, so many ideas,so little time, and not much money, and too much stash! Nothing like new, shiny. Thanks for stopping by to visit me in SD. 💛
Hi Ladies! I’m watching this with the amazing Moon Rose! I was at Knit City with her and we are totally loving this episode! It was so exciting to see her picture with you! We love you both and together you are awesome and hilarious! You remind us of us! We’ve had so many laughs!! But now that you’ve gone through so many vendors, there’s so much more we want to buy!! Lol! Thanks!
you mentioned Portland and Starlight. My daughter lives in Portland, am I lucky or what?? and a tattoo shop right next door to Starlight!!! I have been to the yarn crawl in Portland for about 5 years in a row. have every single year bag, and all the pins. OMG, I visit Starlight every time I visit the kid. such a beautiful city! XOXO
My first yarn festival, from Saskatchewan, totally worth the drive and effort to attend!! Loved meeting you two, you were so gracious to pose for a picture with me, wish I’d chatted with you longer, but you had a few waiting behind me. I bought 4 skeins of Frankie Grey Fibres; Old Town Road x 2, Iron x 1, & Gingerbread x 1, thinking a striped sweater in the fingering weight. Thank you for the awesome bag & tape measure!! I definitely added to my yarn stash from various vendors, everyone was so helpful! Next time will attend both days and bring my knitting with me to sit & visit with like minded people!
I am so jealous of your trip to Scotland! Have you seen Rachel Knits podcasts? She talks us through her trips to Scotland and also a trip to Ireland. I was drooling!
Dear Tracie and Jodi, thank you so much for the shoutout for me and @knitleaks! KCC was amazing, and meeting you in Edmonton was an absolute blast. Sending lots of love from Brazil
I adore the vibrant Frankie Grey colours! Saw you both at Knit City but I was busy shopping till I dropped! 😂 I went alone too and didn't feel weird at all. I had a great time and felt the kindness of so many vendors!
I live in Scotland and you are going to love it .... Knockando WoolMill has some amazing stuff . Will you be doing Shetland Wool Festival? I'm going this year (end Sept) and am so excited...
knitting colors also relate with the world pulse. Tight finacial times have peope knitting with soft mutted colors and solid colors. Great financial time will bring in bright exciting colors . Just like the hem lines.
Girls I read the itinerary an excellent trip.I live in Edinburgh I should come on this trip I still knit the 2 needle way.I would love to go to knit city😊
Hi Ladies! I heard I was mentioned, but I think it might have been the other Alice. hahaha Everywhere I go they play the song...'Who the ******k is ALICE??!?!?' 😁Now I am listening here waiting for you to mention Alice lol! LOL! Dang that thing called work got in the way yesterday. I am looking forward to seeing you 2 on the boat🚢! and now I wish I did go to Knit City Calgary! I am saving my pennies for cruising soon! Hope to see you next Thursday! 🥰
Jodi, you are so on top of trends. I saw a pair of burgundy Cole Hahn loafers for $40 and I couldn’t make them fit!!!😢😩And then you said you’re going to Rhinebeck the one year I can’t go.😢😩Definitely not my day!
You two kill me! When Tracy yelled ‘shitballs’ I literally cackled because I use that phrase all the time! 😂😂 I’m dying to know what Jody’s coffee was. It looked amazing!
As always another awesome chat. So much news! Thanks so much for FREE SHIPPING Jodi. From Australia, very grateful. I snagged some Majestic Fluff I have been wanting to try. We are just getting into the summer knits over here. Thanks Tracie and Jodi 😊🧡
I don't know about Canada, but here in US if you eat corn, it's full of round up. So is the wheat. What isn't full of that mess is full of HFCS, not much you can eat here that isn't toxic causing fatty liver or cancer. We grow corn every year ourselves, not the roundup ready kind, but the old kind, and that's the only corn I eat. No bread, pasta, sweets, unless I buy organic flour and make it myself. Hope your government treats you better than ours does. As for knitting, your sweaters are gorgeous. You two are fast knitters! Really enjoy your podcast!
I made a family trip for the Knit City Calgary. Loved Alberta there are many beautiful hiking trails. My daughter and I went to the show. It was everything you guys said! Please make a blue version of the Deb cardi kit! Sandra
I think the solar block stripe inspo you're thinking of jodi is stripe hype by Veronica Lindburg AKA kutovakika... Not sure in those couple spellings 😬
