What's getting me thru all the Covid stress? Honestly, the knitting community! The past week I'm seeing so much love and generosity everywhere! It's so heart warming and it's just filling me with so much joy and inspiration!! ♥️ And the you two! Thank you for inspiring the whole community and sharing the love!! ♥️

Love you girls. I'm alone in a seniors building and you were my company for the evening. I have my beautiful family but we shouldn't be visiting therefore, believe me, you're great company. Thank you ladies. Hugs from Vancouver BC.

A tip my mum gave me when my kids would use a half a toilet roll every time they went to the toilet - crimp the cardboard so it’s not round, and then a million pieces don’t get spun off and used! It makes a noise and only about 4 pieces of tissue are used. That tip is for all the awesome people that haven’t stashed 100 rolls. 😘

I vote for virtual knit / crochet group. That helps so much to keep folks connected. I would love to find groups like that.

After trying to teach 93 students through Google Meet it was a pleasure to sit down with my "hot toddy" and knit with you ladies. I can't thank you enough for bringing some peace, calm, fun and enjoyment to my otherwise crazy day. Oh...did I mention we took in my mother (96) and mother-in-law (91) in with us? They're doing great and loving it here (they still lived in their own homes). It's really wonderful in it's own strange way. Stay safe and sane...and thank you for providing me with relief.

I totally understand. Knitting is my minute away from reality lately, working in the Medical field right now is rough and a little sketchy as well! So a nice rewind to come home and knit while I can 🙂🥰 Thank You ladies so much for bringing some joy and light to our days!

My local Safeway has shopping hours for Seniors. Very considerate!

What has been getting me through is being intentional about just enjoying the slow down and having my family home. We have been so relaxed and enjoying our time together. Plus reading my bible and growing in the word and not falling into the fear and panic mode by being strong in my faith. Making and crafting are a bonus. I absolutely love you ladies. You bring me so much laughter❤️

You gals get bonus points for helping us all get through,. I would love weekly episodes! Something that brings me joy is my animals. I have Alpacas and bunnies! Also my knitting is bringing me lots of happiness! I have a bunch of projects that I want to knit and am Knitting. The free thing that I am stoked on is 2 weeks of free blueprint (craftsy) classes!

I'm in Florida, and both my cellphone provider and my cable company lifted their data caps on internet usage for the next few months. This is a huge help because we normally have to pay overage fees. They're doing it so kids can do remote school and people can work remotely. I'm so grateful. Also, Traci, I downloaded your new free socks pattern on Ravelry, and I've never knit a pair of fingering weight socks before but my first socks will be your pattern!

So, I got a call today from my doctor's office. I had an appointment/consult for Friday. They asked if I would like to video conference, and they instructed me on setting it up on my phone. How cool is that?

Hearing you are doing this every week brought relief. I’m love watching you, you bring so much positivity during this time. Thank goodness I have you and my knitting to keep me from going cray cray! Thanks ladies!

I'm a teacher and love to knit! Because my knit shop had to close for the next few weeks, I got to buy yarn the day before they closed. So the projects I am excited to work on will be knitting a cardigan, socks for a friend, a hat for my nephew, and two shawls for my sisters! But the coolest thing about being a knitter is that I now I have a couple teacher buddies who have asked to learn how to knit! So I turned them on to you two! Our local cable companies are offering 2 weeks of free internet to help with the kids being out of school so they can access homework on their computers. That's going to be super helpful for a lot of families 🙂. On another note, you guys made my day when you showed the swatch of yellow brick road! I've been looking for that EXACT yellow for almost a year! Knowing it showed up true to color...now I can order it with confidence and finally make the shawl I've been planning for my best friend of 25+ years! Thank you, thank you!!!

So I'm a worship pastor at a church in upstate NY, and coronavirus has thrown us into a complete tizzy trying to get ready for online Sunday services and be optimizing social media. It's crazy! My sister is an X-ray tech at a large hospital with MANY confirmed cases. This. Is. CRAY! I would LOVE to do a virtual knit night. That would be so much fun! Zoom is offering their paid online meeting services for free, and it is FAB. Love you ladies, am grateful that you are willing to do this every week to help us all stay sane!! Stay safe!

It's so interesting to listen to this episode while we are almost 2 years into this pandemic. It is strange to listen to you discuss the issues of the beginning when we are where we are now, and things are still so unknown. Your comment about Covid bringing us all together was rather sad as I find we are so divided again. But, finding you two has been a joy and a true positive resulting from this crazy time. I can't tell you how many projects I have made while watching you. (I watch the new episodes, but I have gone back to watch from the beginning as well.) I shared it with my sister today. I'm knitting of course and cooking. Making a sourdough starter, baking bread. Taking time for meals with my husband, rethinking the rush of life and how we can do better with our time together as a couple when life gets back to normal. Working in the yard when its nice. Spending time with my sisters. Sending recipes to my kids when they ask. I love the family time, that never happens. Staying positive. Love y'all and love all the give aways, Y'all are the best. I Thank God for you guys...I am a nurse in Intensive Care...I cannot NOT go to work even though we take care of the Covin-19 patients...they need our best care, as the state has asked for no visitors for patients, unless patients are end of life, which most Covin-19 patients are not! My husband is also going thru chemotherapy, so if bring any bad germs home....it could honestly kill him...not trying to be negative...I just need to stay POSITIVE, and your podcast is the BEST....so uplifting and funny....again I thank God you are entertaining us through this!!! Knitting and quilting and podcasts are keeping me sane!

I can't beleive that about Air Canada that is insane! We had a flight booked with West Jet and while their policy is nice... they're impossible to get ahold of!
