Grocery Haul | Cooking With Jamie! Jamie and I go grocery shopping and do a haul of everything we got! Then we make dinner together. We had so much fun cooking.
Everyone goes into caretaker mode with Jamie but Arianna is gently guiding her through skills and life.. I think it’s a great fit and I think we’re going to see more of Jamie’s personality come out
I agree with you I feel that Jaimie is so much happier with her living with Arianna than bailie Arianna talks her though things I’m so proud of Jaimie I hope they do more videos like this

Jamie has been following programs to learn these lifeskills. And she has exercised at home, but will always need to be accompanied. You can watch older vlogs on that subject. Besides that, there isn't always the occasion to record that topic.
I love that Ariana isn’t just taking over and doing everything for Jamie. It’s so good to see Jamie getting to learn to cook and shop for herself. I’m really hoping we get to see her open up more on camera and get to know her better.
Tip: to get all of the sauce from a jar, after you pour the sauce in, place a scoop of the hot noodles in to the jar, close the lid and shake it up. The sauce that's left in the jar will slide out with the noodles. ☺️ You young ladies are doing a great job!
Arianna your a inspiration as you cooked along side Jamie, and getting her to voice herself with the items of her choice, great way to show her adulting for her condition as she becomes independence! 👍👌

@@dearleah7299 someone doesn’t have to do anything personally for someone to be thanked. I have worked with special needs kids and adults for 30 yrs. She will take her out and do things with her instead of her living in a group home or a hospital setting. My 22 yr old son also works with special needs teens/adults. Their both awesome and im glad they share small parts of their lives with us.. so remember you can thank people without expecting something in return
@@rhodaneish3230 let’s treat Jamie like a normal person. She and Ariana don’t need to be constantly reminded that she has a disability. People don’t ALWAYS need to talk about her like a disabled person. Thanking Ariana for what she does with her own sister is unnecessary. You wouldn’t thank her if it were Halie or any other sibling helping her cook, so why thank her for simply being a sister to Jamie?

The braids are cute! Definitely keep trying and look into someone who can do a brick layer method. It helps to not look scalpy & more full! Shoutout to you for trying new styles! It looks great! ALSO, make sure you get human hair so it won’t itch. You’ll want to keep your scalp oiled. I know with loose hair, oily hair feels weird but with braids, you’ll need a lot of it
Great job girls. Next time you do not have garlic bread just butter it sprinkle garlic powder/salt on your bread and bake it in a toaster oven or oven. So yummy. Also, if when you're turning your stove on make certain you never turn the handle to the right and reaching the highest level first. Go counterclockwise from low to high. 2 reasons-1 your burner will heat up faster and 2- It will save your elements. Going clockwise can ruin your burner. :)
I love the box braids so much! You look like a pop star. You should try adding in colored hair to them, it would look so sick. Love seeing you and Jamie together!

I think this might be a good fit for both if you. Jamie can benefit from your life skills and it gives you a partner in your house to live with. When I wad young, it was always better to have a roommate. Pretty sure it hasn't changed that much over the years. Best wishes to both of you in your future endeavors together!
This has changed my opinion on Ariana . She’s so good witn Jamie and she’s more responsible than i have given her credit for. I’m very impressed! Way to go 👏🏼
When cooking pasta, never put oil in your water, it will make the pasta oily and your sauses won't stick to it. Also after draining pasta, never rinse with cold water, that makes it stick together. After draining, put back in pan add rest of ingredients, stir to mix, and you'll be surprised how much better it will be. Your dish looked delicious !

Keep up the good work Ariana...for garlic toast...next time after you add butter, add some garlic powder and heat for like 5 seconds...yummy garlic bread...love how Jamie is willing to learn everything. she does not shy away from learning.
You are doing a good job helping Jamie with her cooking skills...she seems to really trust you which will help her remember tips. The noodle tip...putting a few noodles in the jar to sop up the extra sauce is a great idea. After your meal wash the jar and put your leftovers in the jar...then it won't stain tupperware. Easy to warm up tomorrow by taking the lid off and warming in the microwave and using it for eating too.
I love that we get to see a little of your everyday life! I can tell that Jamie and I have very similar taste in food. If I were to go grocery shopping and pick out my favorites, it would probably be very similar to what Jamie got. Also loved seeing Savannah there at the end!
I think Ariana is a good teacher for Jaime. She actually helped her out with making dinner. Plus that Ariana didn’t show Jamie what to do. I wished I had a teacher like that because I am not really a fan of the stove but I am getting used to using it.
Ariana you should try blackened garlic on butter toast you literally take a whole head of garlic cover it in olive oil wrap it in aluminum foil and then you cook it for 3-5 hours or until its solid black it's DELICIOUS
