In today’s video, i am sharing our weekly grocery haul from Pak’n Save supermarket here in New Zealand. I also bought some non perishable food to go into our emergency earthquake kit.

I always love watching meal plans and grocery hauls, great idea about the emergency kit as we still have a long way to go with our cleaning up from cyclone Gabrielle but we count our blessings other people are having to deal with this too.I had a giggle about the microwave rice as we didn't have power for a long time, but had our gas cooktop. The people of New Zealand have been unbelievably kind in volunteering with the clean up and providing meals for the volunteers it is truly heartwarming to see

I haven't lived in nz for a while but do they still bring out boxes for customers to use instead of plastic bags?

Pak n save, Moore Wilson’s have boxes …. Some Countdowns do, haven’t noticed at new world

@@beulathomas6897 I remember 3guys and pak n save having boxes, IGA had paper bags, waxed paper cups, glass bottle in the 80s 90s and early 2000s, eco awareness from a while back. Then suddenly plastic ...now they want to return to pre 2000s😉 with better resource management alternatives
