I buy most stuff from costco and costco business center for way cheaper in bulk. Now the price difference is so huge, i only buy a few things from regularly grocery stores. This includes stuff like lentils, halal meats, etc.

However, while doing the calculation, I usually include some other charges as well, such as: the time and money spent on going from grocery store to my home; the time, money, and effort spent on disposing of the waste products; and the time and effort spent on cleaning our place. Put together, these costs can never be covered by a minimum wage job. That said, a minimum wage job give us certain life skills that a university program, or a regular job can never give.

The thing is u didn't told us that the whole bill will be divided between 4 people u just told that u can't afford this in one shift but it will be divided between 4 people which will be cheap so please tell full information. This is not the grocery of one person this is grocery of 4 people.
During my undergrad in the US, I was able to buy an entire month's groceries for $200, and it shouldn't be much different in Canada since prices are very similar.

Dude the wage is mostly min wage of like $15. Costco pays a few bucks more depending on job. My suggestion is to do security. That pays about the same but no real work if it is after hours during weekend and night shift.
