Yeap but what she bought was the reduced items. Organic items can be cheaper at Aldi and other stores besides Trader Joe’s, but you can’t tell some people how to spend their money.
Genuinely curious, is it about the same price to shop at Trader Joe’s as it is at like a Walmart? For me I noticed the prices are more at Trader Joe’s so I only shop there for unique items that Walmart does carry.
I honestly don’t know but the Walmart near my house is sketchy so I don’t usually go lol. But from what I’ve noticed it seems most items are similar priced!
Pro tip: if you don’t throw away the grocery store weekly catalogs they tell you what produce and meats are cheapest rn so you can plan before shoppimg
A Costco membership is worth it! I not only live in California but in LA county-food and gas is INSANE, but I keep my husband and I’s groceries well under $300 every month with a Costco membership!
$96 would be my WHOLE budget for the month. Calling this "on a budget" is gross. And your excuse of "I live in Cali" is irrelevant when youre shopping at trader joes on the regular. Just say "trying to cut the grocery bill". Dont insult people actually struggling to FEED THEMSELVES by calling this "on a budget"
