I love your cooking Lily and have learned a great deal from you. I used to watch various channels in Korea and Japan to learn about Asian flavours. Now I am watching someone who knows what they are doing right next door to you in British Columbia.😊
My husband loves mapo tofu so looks like we'll be making that soon, when we've got time. He can take the heat. 😂The salad rolls were tasty Lily, we call them summer rolls. Hope you enjoy your weekend Lily. 😊
It's starting to cool down today, but the air quality is not really good though due to wildfire smoke. It seems better a little bit now after rain. Hope you're doing well as well (somehow I can't find your emoji 😂)
Hi Lily 👋 very nice video. You seem like a good cook, and I enjoy watching you make so many different dishes. Can you please tell me how you make your peanut sauce? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you. Have a blessed day 😊
For the peanut sauce, it was on my last week video actually. you may want to take a look later for more details 😊 Heat the pan with oil on it and then add garlic and shallot (minced). Saute until lightly brown. Add about 2 tbsp of smooth peanut butter, 2 tbsp of hoisin sauce and about 1/2 cup of water, bring to boil. The more you cook, the thicker the sauce is. peanut butter and hoisin sauce can be adjusted to your taste. By the way, thank you very much for your support and I'm happy that you enjoy my videos🥰
@lilynguyen88 Thank you so much. I will check out the video. I've tried a few peanut sauces but haven't found the one I'm looking for. Your recipe sounds good, and I will definitely try it. Thanks for your reply, Lily 😊 Have a blessed weekend 🙏 💕
Hi Dana, it's totally fine to ask questions. I always try my best to reply all comments and answer questions that are related to the video actually. I was busy a couple weeks. Thank you very much for your comment, Dana. Hope you have a nice day. Take care 🥰
I just opened my fridge and took the bottle out 😄 It's Lee Kum Kee brand, Chili bean sauce (Toban Djan). It's Chinese cooking, so I use Chinese chicken broth and soy sauce too. Hope you are doing well, Ann. See you.
