GROCERY STORE HAUL! | Nov 2016 

Girl thank you for a "real" food haul! I love that you didn't show all 100% organic and healthy food. Who really eats like that?! You showed a haul for a real working mom and teen daughter with a good mix of healthy and yummy indulgences! I would eat dinner at your house any night of the week (even if you're just popping in a few Totino's pizzas)!! Thank you for keeping it real!😊

Well this is my first grocery haul video!! But seriously I would watch paint dry if you did a video on it!!! You are simply the best!!!

Have you ever made a veggie pizza using the crescent rolls. It is easy to cut and wrap to put in a lunch. i did that at least once a week when I was working. Just put the veggies you like: Cauliflower, broccoli, shaved carrots, radishes, mushrooms. You can also make a fruit pizza with cream cheese than your favorite fruit: pineapple chunks, grapes, kiwi, peaches.

You're right on with the white vs wheat bread. This really confuses people, so I'm impressed. Look into transitioning to buying sprouted grain bread. That is the most digestible form of grain. If you can find organic sprouted grain, even better. It's frequently in the frozen food section. You can find bread, tortillas, bagels, and english muffins. I make 1 stop for the month at the local health food store and freeze it. We avoid HFCS like the plague at our house too. You will want to eliminate the Aunt Jemima because that's the 1st ingredient. It was a rough transition to real maple for my kids, but I just mixed real maple with the fake syrup until we were all maple. It took a couple months but we did it. TFS!

Would love to see your dinner recipes. Always on the look out for new dinner ideas for the family.

Love watching grocery hauls. Glad to know I am not the only one that goes bonkers at walmart. I am so glad that in my area we have a lot more of the neighborhood market walmarts than the super size walmarts. it has helped on my spending a lot.

I don't watch that many grocery hauls but watching yours I did enjoy watching. I like the way you explain what each item you got how you are going to fix them and use them.well done! Thank you for sharing.

Missing you, so I went into history trying to find one I might have skipped, and found this. I have watched it before but it had been awhile and really enjoyed it today just as much as first viewing. Awesome haul. Another idea for those crescent rolls is to make a taco ring: Ground up your meat of choice(beef, chicken turkey etc) add taco seasoning, spread out your rolls in a ring shape. Put meat on the roll, the close. Bake until go,den brown. Then add your condiments and cheese in the middle. Yummy😋

OMG, I'm so glad you mentioned about the pineapple juice and coughing. I've got the flu, and have a terrible cough. Ever since I had bronchitis a couple of years ago, I always seem to get this horrible cough. Quite the haul! Cute Christmas dishes and mug!

Wow!! You amaze me!! Groceries are expensive-boy do I know. Two teenage daughters ...I also make lil sandwiches for my 14 yr old daughter on the Hawaiian rolls. -she loves them. Sometimes we will use them to make slider burgers on-so so good

That's my parents' fav oj. That WAS a big grocery haul! I was thinking up until the end that you might like Costco, but then you said your hauls are not usually that big. I love the deer mug. I don't usually go for the figural mugs but that deer mug is ADORABLE and so over the top whimsical and festive I HAVE TO HAVE IT! LOL. TFS!

If you look at actual peer reviewed studies, organic food is actually no more healthy for you than non-organic in most cases. For example, It's been found that the rate of cancer is no less in those that eat organic. Also these days, a lot of non-organic farms treat their produce in the same way as organic. The reason that organic food is more expensive is because it is low yield. That being said, if it makes you feel better - no harm! :)

Thank you for choosing Organic eggs. It really promotes the wellbeing of Chickens used for farming. I do not buy everything Organic but Chicken and Eggs I do, and I know theyre a lot more expensive but I would rather go without something else to afford a higher welfare chicken and eggs. Loved your grocery haul! I love getting new ideas too, since I have 3 boys now I have to figure out new things to make that they will actually eat. lol! I just bought some of the creamy chicken rice today and stuff to make corn dip! I picked up those pretzels after seeing them in your last video when you showed them and I eat corn dip with them and it's awesome! I will have to try that cheese broccoli rice it looks delish and I think my boys will like it! Can't wait for your next recipe video!

I applaud you for wanting to transition into organic, for worrying about pig ears being healthy for your furry girl and for warning those meat sensitive peeps that your baby backs are about to get some air time.. Here's what I've learned, take it for what it's worth... People are going to have something to say no matter how careful you think you're being in your produce section. I gave our Bernese Mountain dog bottled water, fed him raw and organic supplements up the wazzooo and took him in for regular checkups.. he died at 8 yrs old of lymphoma, anyway..:( And the #1 thing is, no one has the right to never be offended! You love your daughter so well!!! Buy her treats! Buy your furry girl treats! Never apologize for it! You're so kind and thoughtful to your audience! It's EXHAUSTING having to always worry on public forums how we word things and what someone could possibly berate us about. I'm sure I have the majority vote here with all of us CraftyFanGirlers that we think your amazing! Keep doing you!!!

I LOVE Annie's products! I'm 10, so I absolutely love the noodles and soups that they have they are solo yummy!

I like watching grocery hauls, so please do more. :-) Love the jalapeño cheetos! Super addicting. I also buy the Rotel, but I get one can of original and one can of the Mexican. I use cream cheese (8 oz. reduced fat block per can) to make a dip, but I also will sometimes make what we call hamburger Rotel on a lazy or busy night. You just brown the meat and drain, then mix with the already heated and mixed Rotel and cream cheese. Eat with tostito scoops. Not the healthiest, but very filling.

I like those Cheetos puffs...they're my daughter's favorite. I like that you show what you really buy and how you really eat. We eat pretty healthy and try to eat minimally processed food...but my grocery cart still has chips, fruit chews, and ice cream. I try to get those with better ingredients, but at the end of the day it's food and I'm not going to stress about it. And pizza is a weekly occurrence at out house! That mug...so cute!

Great video. Thanks for sharing! I also prefer my bananas to have green on them or I really don't eat them, I just let the rest of my family have them. If by chance some make it to the spotty or really soft stage I'll either use them in bread or a banana corn bread muffin, or mash them up and mix them with peanut butter for my husband to use on sandwiches. That mug is cute. I just got the snowman one with the shovel as a spoon for my daughter last night. So cute!

I get in a rut, buying the same old stuff so I am always looking for new things. I absolutely love asparagus! I either saute it in butter with salt or I roast it in the oven or on the grill. So Yummy!

Something I learnt in class last week is even though things say organic to research the companies because what many do is raise chickens or whatever livestock on hormones then take them off for 30 days and they consider that organic.

your right my mom is a diabetic so we did a lot of research on breads wheat bread is not a healthy choice we found the better choice to be pumpernickel or rye and buckwheat flour for homemade breads or pancakes .yummie finds i make homemade turkey burgers i freeze about twenty and just heat them up during the week with a sidedish.

have you ever roasted your asparagus? olive oil and whatever seasoning you like, 400 degrees for about 12 minutes. it's delicious!

My daughter was telling me the baby carrots like you got is not as good for you as the bigger ones. I was buying the baby ones because I hates to peel them and that is when she told me about that. Also the heavy cream you got is better for you when making whipping cream than the kinds that are already made. Loved your haul.

TFS Marie I have a picky teen. She likes both my Red and green chili. I use green onion,green salsa verde and ground chicken and white beans in the green chili I add green sweet peppers and green tomatoes and cut the sour with agave nectar to sweeten. I don't measure. For the red I use cranberries and the rototel with cilantro lime and ground bison a container of piccolo de gayo a large red onion and red beans. I make chicken Alfredo I do use quinoa pasta and mixed frozen veggies and the Kroger brand of lemon chicken. The Alfredo sauce is Kroger reserve that I use half a bottle and 3 tbsp cream cheese and 1/4 cup cream Parmesan fresh grated 1/4 cup. My daughter is a dancer so eats healthy but needs the calories like I'm sure your daughter does too. I use a lot of organic frozen veggies and fruits and even with a small family save a lot at Costco on a lot of items in your haul. I make foods in big batches of 2 so it is generally for 2 dinners and 1 lunch and the 2nd batch for freezer. It helps when I'm too tired from work. I use the slow cooker a lot. Thanks for giving me ideas and I hope my ideas help you. My daughter only eats homemade applesauce ( make it in the fall and freeze ) with bone in porkchops ( made with sauerkraut and green apple touch of brown sugar to cut acid, sweet white onion and cider packet and mild Italian sausage and sweet Italian sausage). I serve it with mashed potatoes. and and also she will only eat homemade white Mac and cheese. Again made with organic quinoa pasta and a good Vermont cheddar grated at home.

Good to know about pineapple juice and bronchitis. i get bronchitis too. I have been drinking apple cider vinegar and honey to help with mucus. that's groce but that seems to help. it's hard buying good foods when you have a teenager, you do a great job. I enjoyed this video.
