Useful video thanks. I'm just about to purchase the same make of wall-hung toilet and frame system. How long has it been installed before you've had to replace the pipe? I'm not put off from buying this particular brand as I'm sure all makes use the same type of hose and now I know how to replace it should it fail. Thanks again
Hi Terry, I had my toilet installed in 2008, and it only failed recently. I was impressed that no other wear and tear was visible on any other part, so a well made product in my view. Glad I could help.
Hi, thanks for this. Do you know how to adjust the waterflow for full/half-flush? Mine's brand new, with limited instructions from Grohe and I've found that both buttons give the full (large volume) flush. Bit like you, I'm struggling to find anything onlne on here from Grohe in English that shows this fix. Cheers, John
There is provision to provide a second bellow, but on mine this was missing so both buttons perform a full flush. Must have got put in the "too hard" basket somewhere along the line.
Hi Ryan, Yes, not easily available. I used fluro fishing lure - www.ebay.com.au/itm/Surecatch-Lumo-Green-Fishing-Tube-Glow-in-the-Dark-Luminous-Sleeve-/363281662902?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=705-154756-20017-0 If you know someone in the medical field, you could use the tubing that they use for a drip.
Thanks *so* much for this. You just saved me $$$. I could see the problem was that the hose had come loose, but couldn't see where to reattach it. Brilliant.
The closest video to my problem with grohe! However, can you tell me sir what to do with the green small hose? Mine is deattached from the bottom piece(in the video it shows that it is attached to the piece at the bkttom, while mine is attached to the button. I can't figure how to connect). Appreciate your response
Hi, one end connects to the bottom of the square blue and white unit, the other end to the back of the button, both images are shown in the video. Hope that helps
Thank you, but I don't have any tools so I can't try this...will need to ask my stepfather I guess But I'll show him your video if he needs to know how, so thanks for sharing!
What do I do if my problem is this: I want to partly flush it to save some water but right now all the water goes down the toilet, no matter which button I push.
Not possible with this type of flushing system as air lifts up the valve release. You can adjust the volume though by sliding the blue panel on the side of the air chamber.
Hi Rafael, Yeah, I had the same issue trying to source 2mm tube. I ended up using fish lure wo7ld you believe. Search for this - Shogun Lumo Tube Green 2mm I have since found out that the tubing they use in drips would be ideal as well, so if you may be able to source from a veterinary clinic, doctor or hospital. Good luck.
