Holy crap! You may have solved all my problems I thought I was going mad and nobody believed me Now I know exactly what to do, you have my subscription!! Thank you!
So my clone same as yours, the clutch lever is just ungodly hard to pull in. Its a 2 finger clutch lever, when i'm in neutral and shift into first it kind of bumps forward a little like it lurches. But i feel i have adjusted just about as much as i can from the cable, just not sure if i loosen this bit up a little if it will make it easier to pull the clutch lever in or not? It's also very difficult to find neutral as well, sometimes binds up after coming to a stop i feel like. PS- Thank you for making the video, would've never known that adjustment point was there!
These bikes are notorious for having issues trying to find Neutral. It’s even a joke among name brand motorcycle riders. They are sometimes a pain I. The butt to adjust. But the lurching is definitely cause the clutch is adjusted incorrectly. You’re having hard shifting and when having the clutch pulled it it lurches because the clutch lever is not fully disengaging the clutch pack. So it still wants to pull or move the bike. Keep at that adjusting. Also it’s good to try while running
Mine kinda runs rough, got a 2019 with 1400 miles and just put a nibbi racing carb and air filter with Evap and deleted that black thing for the fuel. When I come from a roll and pull in the clutch and down shift it dies. Lmk
@@marcusburca1361 yea the carb really needs to be tuned. Especially if it was running normal before the upgrades. The thing with nibbi is, is a lot of people get them and then give up because the tuning is VERY finicky. It takes a while to find tune it to where you want it. Most people give up call them junk and then try something else. I've had 4 nibbi carbs on 3 clones and another bike and they all ran perfectly once tuned. Pulling in the clutch brings down the rpms anyway because the engine is not under load. If it becomes low enough the engine dies. So trying giving a little more fuel in your AF screw.
@@darkowlmoto thank you boss I been getting around too it now instead did using guess work and hearing the engine like I used to, I didn’t wait for the engine to warm like he said so I jumped straight into tuning it based off of the engine rpm and sound and now I know why it’s running so rough thanks guys
Great info, I’ve definitely had that issue, I changed out the cable, but I will look into the lower compartment. By the way I notice your pipe, I have a different one, but which one is yours?
my problem is going from 3rd to 2nd it goes into neutral. i’ve tried to adjust the clutch at the handle and the screw behind that cover. so far no luck. one guy said he’s had his for 1400 miles and has the same issue. guess i’ll have to just deal with it but kinda annoying.
Same suggestion. The carbs on these are finicky anyway. Get a Nibbi carb. The Mikunis are expensive and the knockoff Mikunis have bad quality control. Most worthwhile upgrade.
i have the issue after riding for like 10 or 15 minutes the bike dies while in gear, i did the evap delete. I havent upgraded the carb yet could it be that? not enough fuel being sent while warmed up and in idle? it seems to only do it in gear tho
Does it have the stock fuel filter? Sometimes the filters are junk and restrict fuel filling up the carb. Sounds like you could possibly be running out of fuel and the carb can't keep up. This happened on mine.
