It's all production's idea. If she has a dream dress in mind 1: the audience will know if he's doing well or not and 2: there's likely more drama. Expectations are higher, and almost definitely going to be let down given how many different styles there are. It's a bit cruel tbh, but this man did amazingly. I'm so happy for them

Shame. Yes the seamstress was just not competent. But it was a lovely wedding

Unfortunately when you buy a wedding dress you usually have at least two fittings to get it fitting perfectly. When there is only one fitting and less then 24 hours to do those alterations you get the best they can do. It has nothing to do with the seamstresses abilities but rather the lack of time and fittings

I’m Irish although I’m not married , the bride and groom always pay for the dresses as far as I’ve seen because you’ve chose them to be involved in the wedding so you would pay for the dresses ,they didn’t ask to be bridesmaids you’ve asked them , so you pay :)

The Same in Indonesia. The brides will provide them.

Same in the Philippines unless the bride and groom doesn't have the money to pay for it.

In USA they pay for their own clothes too

That's a very thoughtless way of thinking about it ,In Ireland we always pay for the dresses ,shoes bags , jewelry as a gift to the bridesmaid and a gift to the groomsmen. It's just being kind because weddings are costly and they should not have to pay for being in your wedding. Also normally their friends would pay for their hens or stags , that's the way it is .and it's the kind way and the right way to do it , emmm also because it's a tv show and they where given a budget would you be that tight and not include your friends on the budget and just want your fiance to think all about you ! And him. That's why so many people in America complain about being bridesmaids it's so costly and then there expected to give a gift as well. I would not care about gifts as long as my friends and family where there ,it's not about gifts and money.

Great thing about the Irish version, is that the people are real. Not all botox and size 5 women. The families are real. Natural, normal people and real homes, not mansions. Just regular people living in regular homes. Great change

I disagree about all of the women wanting expensive 5-star weddings. Of course, it depends on the women. A few wanted things to be simple and not elaborate. Often it's their mothers who want the fairy-tale elaborate wedding with large poufy dresses.

The fairy tale venues were often not as expensive as you think.The grooms often look at a very similar venue and turn it down so price is doable

The bridesmaid dresses were more flattering :(

If groom would provide a photo of the bride/ get somebody to model it , he might choose wisely. These alterations were awful!! Last They need get a discount on this dress.he could avoid bad alterations at the last minute. Couldn't groom bring a female with him to advise about bride's dress size? One groom ordered size 14 for his size 8 bride. For couples engaged forever/or with children, surprised they never went clothes shopping together or bought a piece of clothing for the woman. Lingerie sometimes do not allow returns or exchanges. Bride cannot remove tags or wear6 the item.

Very tall people tend to hunch over because they are self conscious of towering over people.
