OMG !!! This dog is absolutely gorgeous !! I have been wanting either an OES or a Sheepadoodle for quite sometime. I’m retired and live alone and have the time for daily maintenance !!!! It’s the price that’s holding me back. Beautiful beautiful work on this lovely dog !!
Jamie Woods hi I’ve had OES for over 35 yrs and I’ve never had them clipped every 3wks I couldn’t afford it, mine get done every 9wks my groomer said between 8 and 9 wks !
That head trimming spoils the look of an OES, IMO. Why not look at photos of puppies (with less hair than adults) and copy that look? As it is the dog looks like a doodle.
That dog is so well behaved. My pup goes once a year and has to be bribed excessively with treats while getting professionally groomed. The poor thing just can’t seem to sit still.
El perro es preciso. Lo que esta mal es que lo corten con maquina. Este perro se debe de cortar a tijera , sufre mucho menos el pelo y queda espectacular. En España , tenemos grandes peluqueros caninos, entre los que se encuentran Cesar Alonso o Esther Catalán. Os recomiendo ver un vídeo por ejemplo de Esther , y no es por hacer publicidad por que no la conozco, pero la dedicación y el trabajo con el bobtail te deja sin palabras.
We get ours groomed at petsmart and we shave him down all the way. That way, we only have to go there about 2-3 times a year. Saves a lot of money instead of only shaving a little!
Anyone who thinks that regular grooming maintenance on an OES with a competent master groomer like this needs their head examined. more power to anyone who can do it every three weeks and supplement with light home grooming.
i LOVE HER HAIR CUT , hOW DO i ASK FOR ONE LIKE THAT ? Can u b very specifil plz. I have an almost 2 yr odl OES & I want to finally get rid of her long hair.
They don't over heat. The coat protects them from both cold and heat but, as with any dog you don't leave them out when it's super hot. I don't recommend and OES in hot climates anyway.
We currently have 4 oldies and have had oldies since 1982. They are clipped in summer groomed professionally regular. Kept out of excess cold and heat temp range -5 to 45 degree C. They have2 coats and need care. The coat is an insulation against heat and cold. Like children they need care and will bring so much love into ur family. U can't just shave this dog. Cheers
