Your puppy is adorable I’m getting a cockapoo soon aswell and I’m so exited!!

You should teach him to ring a bell when he needs to pee. Taught that with my last one and we called it “ring a bell go pee” and brought her to rocks also to save the grass. Eventually with a leash on the rocks and a bell it was seamless and she on,y would go on rocks and had to ring the bell. This way we could always know if she needed to go. I’d just grab his paw and ring the bell for him for a few times when needing to go pee and reward with a treat or hold a treat next to it until naturally they ring it, then take him out to do the business. Just a thought!

Looks like your home grooming went very well. Put the amount you save in a jar to help cover other expenses/treats for Dobie or treats for yourselves.

Please do not give dry food to a young pup. Sprinkle it with warm water so that it does not get stuck in the throat. Stick to set meal times. It is not adviseable to leave a bowl of food in the crate.
