@@tazmanrehman The parents get arrested bud. There were 2 dads in Rochdale that went round to the house their daughters we kept in. The police arrested the dads and told them their daughters brought it on themselves. Many parents have tried and got into trouble themselves. The Telford scandal was mainly young girls in care homes who were being taken. The staff turned a blind eye.

Just so you know, as I understand it, the dads that got arrested had called the police, thats how the police knew to go round that house. The dads refused to leave I understand and wanted entry to get their daughters but the police took the dads away instead. I agree that some parents will be to blame also but not all. Allegedly the groomers hang around outside schools also. There was the case that a certain TommyR reported on of the 40 year old who told authorities he was a teenager and was allowed to join High school, The guy was bald with wrinkles but our British authorities still set him up in a British High School as a student. Larger scale. Boys are often abused in a much wider range of behaviours and then exploited for both their labour and sax. The added stigma prevents them coming forward, as does the Misandrist public viewpoint that males are always guilty.

Alex is specifically referring to the victims of historic abuse perpetrated when they were girls but are now adults...hence 'women', because it would be odd to refer to someone in their 20s, 30s, 40s, or 50s as girls. It seems this is going back as far as the 70s/80s, so there are plenty of adult women out there who went through this.

They were ignored as some people thought they were not worth bothering with/asking for it as a lot had issues at home or were in care.. The girls/females should be respected rather than seen as slags etc. The adults who abuse them and the people who ignored it are to blame, not the girls.

Well done to GBNews for covering this. It's a shame, though, that you cannot bring yourselves to discuss the elephant in the room which is the whole reason for this segment. That reason is the imminent release of the Rape Of Britain documentary which is causing a backlash of violent attacks and firebombing by the criminals in Telford where this young lady is from.
I would like to see Samantha and other abuse survivors articulating how they would like the criminal justice system to change in order to try to get more of the abused girls report it sooner. I believe it will be necessary to prosecute police for negligence and punish failed institutions, but those who were failed by these systems ought to be advising on how the systems have to be reformed. We have a dangerous situation at the moment where many abusers will feel they have complete impunity and it is clear that the institutions will not care about the victims unless they are penalised for not caring.

When I was a victim of abuse, I'd had my neck broken via strangulation. The social workers first words to me were "we are here because of your poor taste in men" I'd never report abuse again after what they and the police put me through.
