Score and rank results for the Groot arenas, I Am Groot and Flora Colossus. From the 3-star arena I duplicate the Groot I earned for completely exploring the Rocket and Groot's Holiday Special (Heroic) event quest ( • A Friend's Reward Ques... ).
Groot is a gentle giant and best friend to fellow Guardian of the Galaxy, Rocket Raccoon. He is immune to Bleed and can regenerate health with his second special attack. His attack is relatively weak but his health and ability to regenerate it make him one of the tankiest characters in the game--a perfect complement to Rocket Raccoon.
When a Critical Hit strikes Groot or a Special Attack is used against him, he earns a Pacifism charge that is indicated by a happy Groot icon below his health bar. Each time a Pacifism charge is gained there is a 10% chance that they can all be expended (i.e. throwing off his gentle nature), converting each Pacifism charge into a Fury and Physical Resist effect.
Groot's awakened ability is Gentle Giant, which gives Groot a chance at a charge of Cruelty for each Fury stack gained from throwing off his gentle nature (at signature level 8, the chance is 40.4%). Each Cruelty charge raises Groot's Critical Hit damage by 25%.
