then organize it :) make it happen -> new year resolution "By the end of 2022 make a random gathering with my fav resident dj". My personal resolution since I am moving to Antibes France, by summer 2022 learn how to mix house music at a basic level such as I don't fck up basic transitions.
this is my 3rd time listen to this set, first time i was at home alone in one of my worsts days, the second time i was walking my dog, today im at the river enjoying a cold one, house music has changed my life
I was in Berlin this past spring and summer, for an Internship. Random events like this, dancing in a park in the middle of the night, or just enjoying a beer and the sunset in the same setup, those things made me fall in love with the city!!!
@@beasthighlights5787 sowas labbern nur Leute die einfach keine Plan haben und in Ihrer bunten Welt leben und Links und Rechts von Ihrem Standpunkt eh alles kaki is....
The thing is Chris, i think your sets definitely deserve to make you a very famous dj, but then i see in you in a setting like this, and i just want you to stay as anonymous as you can be because your sets suit these casual feelgood settings so much better than a big crowd. What can i tell you, it's a true paradox, but goddamn i love your sets, and they just seem to keep coming ;) Cheers man!
a good avenue for money these days is in having a youtube channel with something fresh. artists are adapting to suite these new avenues of income. lets face it, the days of big name dj's like fatboy slim are behind us, every kid is a dj nowadays, so lots of peeps go unnoticed, youtube changes that if you can deliver the sound in a new kind of way and technology has enabled that in the way of more versatile decks and fast internet etc
This video made me realize how unhappy I've been lately. The beautiful landscape, wonderful evening, hanging out with friends worrying about nothing and the great music to top it off.. It has some sort of a nostalgic (and at the same time, a bit melancholic) feeling to it... I feel like I unlocked a part of my mind that had been locked for a long time! I am so happy I found this masterpiece, thank you!
U've got a great music taste! Believe me everythings gonna be alright, even if things might not seem like that always. And hey, summer will be here soon! Just a few months n u and i can both experience beautiful nights like this. i really wish that more citizens of our country could see the beauty in trance & house n other unpopular edm genres. Greetings from Tampere ;)
This whole set, sunset summer vibe, people in the background dancing, talking and having fun, this is what life is about - Having a great time together. Enjoy life and don´t take it too seriously!
Chilling on my balcony in Phuket Thailand, enjoying another gorgeous sunset over the ocean. I found this set. I'm 1 minute in and i already know it's going to be a vibe. Wherever you are in the world, enjoy.
I saw that and thought the same thing. Nice of the gentleman who walked across camera behind Chris luno to go get empty bottles and give it to the same women cleaning up
Great that she does it, but it’s also probably because of “Pfand”, a kind of deposit or tax you pay on every plastic or glass bottle you buy that gets refunded when you bring the empty containers back to the store. A lot of European countries have these kinds of systems to incentivize people to bring back their empty packaging so they can be recycled.
Sure looks like that lady is cleaning up. Reality behind that is, that this elderly woman probably does not get enough retirement money and tries to finance her life with collecting those bottles. 8 cents per beer bottle, 25 for cans. It is sad
@@MultiGulasch Definitely sad that people have to resort to this for income, but at least they are able to get money for it, and it’s helping the environment at the same time 🙂
Ever since I listened to the highway house mix you will always have a special place in my heart Mr. Chris Luno, may your tunes go onto bless many others. Love from Canada 🇨🇦
My first thought was "why does he stay on the same song for so long?" Then 30 minutes in I realized it's a vibe, and he shouldn't rush anything just to show off or anything. A chill setting, complimented by a DJ with a sense of what is needed. That is actually hard to find nowadays, great set, I enjoyed it very much! :)
A lot of DJ sets that I've heard seem to rush quickly into the next song. I almost find it insulting, as if we as the audience don't have the attention span and interest to listen to one track for more than a minute. In my opinion, a good DJ knows how to settle into a song/groove, and only segway to a new track when the time is right.
@@BiggyJimbo Exactly. I can see how quick transitions serve their purpose in some settings (clubs etc) but for the most part, I don’t really enjoy it that much. I’d rather bang out a full song than switch 3 times in a minute.
its funny..i understand this type of djing and not the type where they mix more songs together...there is a reson house, techno, hard techno songs are 4,5,6 minutes long,..
I'm saying this as a German living in Frankfurt. This is Germany 2024. We have these places and occasions all across Frankfurt as well. The most typical: People collecting empty bottles to collect the Pfand and each and everyone is treating each other with respect.
I did this in 2015 when i was living in Africa and now I live not far from this park and have experienced the spontaneous dj's. Its entirely possible if you really want it.
@@DeadRyuken jajajjajjajajajaa para nada mi amigo son muy pocos que si saben de gustos musicales ya hoy en dia no saben la generacion de cristal cual es la musica verdadera aqui centro america
Two things 1) thank you for reminding us what it’s used to be like in Melbourne Australia 2) your pick great tunes we had you on in our backyard on big screen last Saturday we felt free again
I love this. Everything about it. People just hanging out like old school at a park and enjoying each others company, vibing to house without a care in the world. Those days are sadly long gone in the states. Glad you are keeping this alive, Chris!
@@SHOW96HH It is sad. Most strangers these days don't like to socialize with one another and embrace each other's company. I'm not speaking to that definitively, but it at least seems that way.
@@montoya727 It might be a little more difficult to find environments like these in the USA, but it's not that they're gone. You just have to spend some time seeking them out. You'd be surprised how many places might have something chill like this happening. I always talk to people at events I enjoy, and sometimes that will lead to meeting even more new people who will bring you to new places with cool people. It's all about finding the right people.
I’m late but still in time to vibe with this set, watching all the people make new friends at the park and sharing cigs makes me remember about the good times i had
Your music has defined this summer for me! I've spread the word at backyard parties, weddings, and to all my friends! Love the good vibes and great music and the fact that you're having so much fun with it. Keep it up, please!
This video was recommended to me and was one of the best I’ve watched in recent times. What an incredible production and how nice to be able to experiente it through this video, even though I wanted to be there. Your set is sensacional, thank you for it. Hugs from Brazil! 🇧🇷
I travelled extensively as a flight attendant and Berlin is by far one of the coolest cities imaginable, no matter what you are looking for (history, culture, vibe, social mix).
One of the dirtiest and criminal cities also. Munich is much more beautiful and way cleaner imo. English garden ist just breathtakingly beautiful and big. And has a cool club scene also. I even like Cologne more than Berlin. Berlin is overhyped if you ask me.
Berlin is one of the dirtiest cities I have ever visited. Construction everywhere you look, sewers that are above ground level and alot of drugged out homeless people on the streets..
A set with people dancing in the background needs at least one track from Solomun's famous BoilerRoom - Set ;-) And when it is in Berlin it should be Westbam&Nena 7:00
I just got my first mix board (pioneer ddj 400) after a few practice rounds im gonna go perform downtown in a park as well wish me luck in my town people are more likely to think of it as a disturbance. Also btw what speakers did you use
__ Dj is playing for his friends.. Cool but I see he has some issues watching the laptop under the table.. I think for this kind of set will be better play with a denon dj go, I had pioneer dj since I changed for denon dj I can do more tricks also has more options to make the party even better..
Trying to study at sunrise here in Australia, whilst listening to this and i can't focus hahaha. it's such a boopy, fun mix & that girl in green is just gorgeous! Great mix Chris and love that you shared a playlist on spotify! Right now that im done procrastinating....
@Sen Se Europe can't be compared to Australia. Australia is next level. Not only the landscape. The cities, the people, the vibe. The endless nature. I fell in love with Australia and hope to be back there soon.
@Sen Se Where are you from in Europe? I'm from northern Italy, the German-speaking part, so I know Italy, Austria and Germany quite well. I did a tour for over 2 months on the east coast of Australia and visited the major cities and some famous things. I didn't visit the outback or perth, but next time I will! The food is not that good compared to Italy. That's definitely true. Australians aren't known for their cooking skills and lots of things are misinterpreted. The ingredients itself are great. Probably better than elsewhere. Fish is great. Meat is great too, but their sauces can be bad. Australians love sauces on everything and I don't understand why. But life isn't cheap. But when comparing Australia to Europe overall, Europe loses. Yes, the historic parts are definitely nicer and they exist. Melbourne has some "historic" buildings. But let's be honest, every church in Europe is probably a few hundred years older. That's two different type of history and that's fine. I like newer cities as long as they're better. And I think a modern and functioning city with great nature is better than having history. Overall, we can't beat Australia. Australia has better nature, is safer and the people are much friendlier. You earn more money and can save more. The saving ratio is much higher compared to everyhting in Europe. Every youth person should check out Australia. If you're looking for a normal life, it's probably among the best in the whole word with New Zealand or so. Good social system with working hospitals too. But the internet mostly sucks, especially outside of bigger cities.
This video popped up in my feed and damn... I jumped up and started dancing and couldn't concentrate on my work. House music does that to you so thanks for this. I don't know how the people in the background sat there without getting up and jamming for so long. This makes me want to move to Berlin...
I can see you lil nervous, don't know if its your friends or just you being around more people now, but GUSH you are amazing, keep it up! Don't be nervous, you are AMAZING! I see your gf trying to make the atmosphere even better! Shes so cool!
