obviously not the real chris joslin go on the channel and look all the vids are titled CHRIS JOSLIN who would title their one name like that and there are only three of them like wtf
so many whiney snobby children in the comments. The filming was amazing, the editing flowed, the song fit and the skating was insane.......... fucking internet kids these days.....
Wow this is when he was unknown to the world, epic, he was already so fucking good, I’d say 15 or 16 at this point because when he got on Plan B he was 16 but didn’t film any of his parts until he was 17
may i add that his plan b part really is what made this dude one of my favorite skaters .. but i saw this part for the 1st time yesterday june 2024... hands down best part ive seen ALL year no cap i cant stress how insperational this is ... if youre a skater you should know how AMAZING this part is truley a monumental staple in skateboarding history!!!!
The entire video feels nostalgic from the music, to the skating to Chris Joslin himself. It's awesome to look back and see the greats before they really became the greats...
Switch hardflips, switch back bigspins... Like are you friggin serious bro? SWITCH BACKSIDE BIGSPINS. How can anybody even do that, let alone down a 10 stair. Da fuck
This part made me not afraid of stair sets anymore and I thank you for that. The very next day I pop shuved an 8 stair. Ill remember this part forever dead ass. This part made me into a new skater.
Been watching street skating since 2000. Got lucky enough to have a new high school built and in the library we had Thrasher and Transworld mags to check out!! We’d have party’s with 10-15 skate friends when Sorry and Yeah Right came out… bottom line is Jolson is an all time great street skater. Top 5 if not top 3 ALL DAY!!!
It’s wild to know that this was his first part(far as I know) and he’s already better then a lot of other pros much older than him in this video! In this part you get a feel for his HUGE bag of tricks he takes to gaps, really the only thing that changed from this to B True and onward is the big gaps in this part become the small gaps in his later parts. His skating is so gnarly he’s like the over achieving student in high school who all the other students can’t stand because he makes them look bad by comparison.
The tree flip and fs flip enders are the spot I grew up skateing around this time. Trapasso kickfliped the gap. Who was my favorite skater at the time. The ground control came out and joslin blew my mind. I told everyone and there mom about this kid.
I can only imagine how blown away the filmers were when they realized a skater they filmed ended up turning pro a few years later. That has to be an awesome feeling for them.
He was clearly already 1 of the best in the world when this was filmed, this would hold up today very very well , I'm sure they where well aware what they where witnessing but it would have been cool anyway
Fast forward hes tre flipping Davis, was a unbroken kingpin away from treflipping eltoro, ghetto bird (hardflip revert) AND inward heels wallenberg..this kids already proven hes a prodigal stair/gap skater n hands down the best at in in the world. If nijah or foy is king of handrailz n shane oniel or luan olivera is king of tech. Then joslin by far jas the market cornered for the big boi flip tricks.. joslin would get bent over in a ledge/manuel pad based course if hes up against shane or luan or even a rubereo or hoeffler. None of those guys could keep up on a big section/best trick situation..actually shanes pretty well rounded enough to hold his own...luan too barring handrail stuff.
Chris joslin skate is insane. But I want to take a min to give dead pixel some props this edit is a chief kiss made the part one of the sickest of all time.
Seeing these comments about how flawless is skating is... You guys must have not seen any recent videos: I mean his style is very flawless in this whole thing, but his style nowadays... Holy fucking shit. You have noooo clue how perfect his style is now
sick skating and all but i just wanna point out, a lot of these shots are WAAYYY to warm. drop the white balance, make the picture look more neutral and natural. other then that. nice.
Can't stop watching this segment - the height his legs go and he still ends up landing upright - insane. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pUI6YW70U7Q.html
If any has seen the spot for his last trick you would be blown away."house of drops" is the crustiest spot run up is on a downward slop the drop is huge with glass and rocks every where and the fact he got 2 tricks on it is unbelievable. go chris
