In some places the sound reminds me of deathcore, not in a bad way tho. Guess I should have expected that from punk influences. All in all, solid record.
@@XxLifeInFuneralXx now I get it. :) a band with skills lent some members to a band in a genre less known for skills and raised the bar a little. Cool.
Because old heads and 14 year old elitists think all Grind should sound the exact same it did in the 80s and 90s, that way everyone except them stops giving a fuck about the scene and gets bored.
GROUND - I'm sorry that when your skills and production quality get to the level you're at that people start to call you false grind and nu-metal. I'm sorry that your decision to put in a few breakdowns in to your music caused a few people to misunderstand your style. Its all good though, solid record and even the people who don't get it like it so...
“False” Grind just means “I’m an old shithead/pretentious teenager that wishes all Grind sounded the same as it did 20 years ago so that way everyone except us stops giving a shit about the genre and we don’t have to worry about being creative”.
That maybe?!?!.......But with nowadays there's too many covers to "cover" & make sure you dont infringe upon anybody ya know? I dont think a band wit such raw emotions would be a biter
There will always be bands playing old-school "true" grind and others that will experiment and fuse genres, both are legit to me. I'm not a fan of breakdowns, they bore me, so I don't enjoy those parts in Ground's music. However, I like all the rest. Cheers!
