I knew this was. California. What a beautiful area you are in. The ground squirrels in my yard are loud, chirpy & they have been digging holes in my yard. I have nothing growing, but fear that if I start my gardening, they will eat it all.

They will. They are tunneling under my fence and pulling my snow peas back with them. I'm going to try this product!

I use live traps; put them at the entrance to their hole. I use a Squirrelinator. Rabbit food for bait. I grow veggies for market and they were ruining my business. I caught 40 in 6 weeks and didn't see another one for 3 years. Put them in the same place far from other houses. They know to get caught to be able to be with their colony again...some of them. Some are more dense.

That seems like a great product. Not for everyone. On hillsides with hundreds of gopher and grounds squirrels hauling a bucket of water is problematic. I do like that it fills the hole though. I may try it around and near the house.

kitchen trash can filled 2/3 water with black sunflower seeds on top the water with a ramp .done deal

Is this gopher goo safe for pets? I have a squirrel hole I’d like you to fill but i have dogs in my yard.

we ive in the sonoran desert in AZ, now that the heat is subsiding, the last couple weeks I noticed holes with mounds and being the desert its soft sand because they have dug past the rock layer. I just notice today they ate the roots of my baby tree! im so pissed! they have little mounds all over the property lines/fence. The neighbors have a husky dog so im thinking it wont go over there. we dont have any pets, so its free to roam. HELP... I am now trying a concoction of corn meal and baking soda hoping it will cause them to bloat and die off, whatever it is. the mounds look like what you showed for gofer but this is the desert, not sure they could survide here. HELPPPP

Well, MelWilo, I apologize for the late response back concerning the gopher challenges. You have to realize you MANAGE gophers and not really ERADICATE them as they tend to be territorial and move to one property, hang out for a while, then come back to old stomping grounds and create more problems. The best you can do to MANAGE them is hire a pest control company to monitor or keep them at bay, bait them out with commercial gopher baits which can be toxic and dangerous to humans and animals, deter them with products like the GopherGoo that I mentioned in the video, or learn how to set traps and trap them yourself which can be time consuming and costly. Take your pick and pray for the best so they do not eat up all your beautiful plants, and thank you so much for viewing my video. and taking the time to comment.
