I was here in 2003 and One thing ill never forget seeing was the fence it had victims clothing pictures and everything else family members had put there and as i walked further ahead of all of the people i started seeing the missing pictures with messages saying if you have seen this person please contact this number it broke my heart because everybody knew they were gone but family members never gave up looking!!
I also saw New York City and Ground Zero in 2003. I was only there for 1 day for a business trip. Only time I ever been there. The people in New York City were so nice, which I did not expect. Even the mobsters hanging outside at Sparks Steak House when I tried to take a photo where Mafia Boss Carlos Gambino was assassinated back in December of 1985. The wise guy was like "Hey, you got a problem?" - lol.
3:06 it’s insane, my mother literally used to work at that same Century 21 before the pandemic messed up business, it was a good distance away from The Trade Center site too.

So basically, they were destroyed by 2 planes hijacked by terrorists on that Tuesday morning of September 11th, 2001. It took less than an hour for the South Tower to collapse, and it took nearly 2 hours for the North Tower to collapse. World Trade Center 7 also collapsed several hours later, but it was not destroyed by a plane, instead, it was due to fires and debris from the North and South tower. Fortunatley, there were no fatalities reported because everyone had to evacuate the building. The rest of the buildings were also destroyed in the plaza by the two towers, but some of them had to be demolished, possibly due to severe damage to the buildings.
