Magma is way closer to the surface and the top layer is being weakened by the ongoing uplifts and subsidence. It is only a matter of time until there will be an eruption in my opinion but listen to what the experts say.
THANK YOU so much for your support it is much appreciated and helps a lot !

For those who have visited Pompei, or have seen the archeological photos: Do you think what happened there could not happen in the present day? They found couples frozen in time, still asleep in their beds. There are 2 ways to interpret the findings: 1.: The volcanic eruption was so massive and sudden that it killed the local inhabitants in their sleep; or 2.: The eruption(s) were so massive that the locals knew they could not run away/escape the ash fall, so they just climbed into bed and hugged eachother. Think about it, and ask yourself whether the same thing could happen today.,. I think it could. I think it probably will…

They had warnings. Lots of earth quakes. Toxic gases. Many fled. Others waited, however too late. Some chose to stay. They thought they could hide in their homes. Now we have more knowledge. But do we have more certainty? Perhaps some say also today: Flee!

It travels at supersonic speed. Vesuvius and Pompeii was a pipsqueak similar to Hunga Tonga Haapai. Which did 4 hypersonic blasts into space from around 50km down, in 30minutes. Each around a Gigaton TNT equivalent. About 10 cubic kilometers of Magma ejected as vapour at four to five thousand degrees Centigrade. A supervolcano is 100x larger but same type of eruption. We have high declination meteor storms that cross Earth's orbit twice a year on the same dates. The only mechanism that can produce that kind of elliptical orbit, with those parameters is launching from the Earth or our moon by Supervolcano. They may look like short period comets initially, because the shockcone compresses and sinters the Tephra exiting the atmosphere.

The citizens that live in that area are living on borrowed time. As are the citizens on the west coast of the USA and Canada. However, it is not possible for millions of people to pack up and leave based on what might happen. The forces of nature are almost beyond our ability to comprehend. The earth is dynamic, and it renews itself constantly. Thanks for your work in bringing scientific information to the masses, Silki.

Well said! Evacuating over 3 million people: to where?, for how long?, at whose expense? If there is time: and:millions are evacuated but there is no serious eruption, the disruption and expense would be catastrophic! If there IS a major eruption most of the millions evacuated will have no home to return to. Then what? It’s a horrific dilemma but no government or society is able to “come up with.a plan” for a natural disaster of this magnitude. ,

I've been closely monitoring both Campi Flegrei and Vesuvius and there's no denying that Campi Flegrei is exhibiting all the classic signs of a volcano preparing to erupt. Since January the ground has risen by more than 10cm and the earthquakes are getting stronger. Of Naples two volcanoes, Campi Flegrei poses the greatest danger. The residents need to know where they live and prepare accordingly.

I think we can learn alot about what might happen at Campi by what had happened at Grindavik. They had evacuated the town. Everyone was safe. But what I remember the most was the waiting. I think everyone thought it would erupt soon. Right away. But it didnt erupt right away. There was a long wait. And I am sure that wait was even worse for the evacuated people. But it DID erupt. Both situations are similiar is that there is no giant mountain type volcano. So even if they would evacuate people near Campi there may be a "long" wait. As to how long - no one knows. They are too hard to predict. Could be hours or a month. Or it may grumble and then go back to sleep. All of these solar flares do not help.

Hi Silki, I hope you are doing well. How are the horses and dogs doing? If no one has told you lately you are doing an amazing job keeping everyone on the pulse of the events happening in the volcanic community. This is a very scary time in our lifetime. this super volcano if she blows is going to affect the world in the long term. Just the thought of this thing blowing its top is making me sick because it is going to be hugh, The things that bothers me is the scientists have been sitting on this since the 1980's, and even worse is they have kept it very quiet even now they will not tell the people to move to get out if they want a chance to survive. The population in and around the caldera are scared to death of what is coming. When you feel the ground rumbling and shaking these are the volcanos warning you it has been rumbling since the 1980's so what do they have to gain by keeping it quiet. people are going to panic this is human nature but why put people through that why cause them excess stress of this capacity when you knew about this in the 80's is it the scientific community that is keeping it quiet or is it the government keeping it quiet either way this has happened time and time again why we put people in the position of power just blows my mind. this Super volcano has not even hit the news feeds around the world which is even more scary. The panic this super volcano is going to cause has never been seen in our lifetime. every movie you see of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions disaster movies of all descriptions show people looting and shooting people to get their stuff from stores and homes people running and screaming in the streets. It will cause wide spread panic around the world those who do not believe this is going to happen while the people who have intuition enough to read the findings of scientists and prepare for such a colossal event and have been telling people for months even years that this thing is going to blow and the people who have been telling them all along this is going to affect the world in the long term are called names or told they are crazy. No everyone is born with intuition the same too for common sense. You read and investigate and get the word out that people need to prepare and no one listens to you. We have all seen how volcanos work in science classes back in school. But for some of us it wasn't very correct it is much more complexed than the teachers knew back then we understand much more than they did back in the day and science is changing constantly to do with out well being and our lives more things are coming to light every day. we should thank our sciences for giving us what we have today, but all that technology and we know more about our solar system than we do of our own planet. I believe every volcanic eruptions give us plenty of warning that its going to blow we just have to be open to it and move away especially. We have no real way out of situations like this. We live in Dangerous areas all over the world, some worse than others. Volcanos and earthquakes are the worst because even though we are warned in plenty of time nothing is done to make those people safe, instead when areas are known to have volcanic eruptions in the past and have not erupted in eons we still build on it especially with population explosions happening densely populated areas are a constant reminder that even today there are people living below the poverty line in our modern times. When this volcano blows, when the the big bang happens, when the dust rocks and debris are forced into the air, its too late to run. If anyone has heard of the late 1800's eruption of Krakatoa the island had a small community of people on there who farmed it for things they could sell. that had to be evacuated from the island the day before the volcano erupted. Krakatoa was a strata volcano and when this thing blew the first explosion shot rocks pumice and super heated gases into the air. What goes up must come down, right. it came down as an ash cloud followed by a pyroclastic flow which races down the mountain across the small sea and onto the islands that surrounded it, the next explosion blew the mountain apart and its caldera ended up below the water line. I think the reason the eruption ended the way it did was because there was a rupture in the side of the mountain that allowed water from the sea to enter into the caldera which is why the last hugh bang that was heard could be heard all the way to the African coast. Now where that is true i guess its a possibility. This is going to be on a much larger scale when this super volcano goes off. So many people are not going to make it and that in itself is heart wrenching, when things could have happened to at least give some of them a chance to go and survive. It goes without saying that i pray for the people of Italy and in parts of Europe that are going to be directly impacted by this volcano its not going to be a small explosion when it goes off. Krakatoa gave people warnings months before it erupted thanks to a couple of scientists who sadly didn't make it their notes helped to shape the sciences into what it is today. Their due diligence in writing down what they thought and how the volcano acted right up until the second explosion and the pyroclastic flow detailed accounts of what happened before Krakatoa erupted caused such a stir in the scientific community of its time was hugh. They took rock samples and notes their supposition on what they thought was happening and what did happen right up until it was all over. Most of science is guess work other is trial and error the rest is actual knowledge, Scientists are rarely going to agree on their findings as it is interpretation of the tests samples and other data collected that will come up with the right answer when they should be working together and keep their cool and be open to suggestion keep an open mind you are not going to be right all the time no mater who has done the most courses or who is the most educated of the bunch. Forget the i'm a leader mindset you are all educated in different ways and what you learned back then could have changed entirely since you did it in your educational timeframe, science is changing and so too is our understanding of our sciences. Being a professional and being open minded can get you far more understanding than being pig headed and i am always right mindset. Working together achieves much more positive results than not working together. This report Silki has my mind racing i have to say and getting things done is how i go about easing my mind and slowing me down but with this volcano almost ready to go off it is making me prioritize what has to be done as opposed to what needs to be done. That's for sure. Until the next update Silki keep drinking that coffee girl, Please stay safe and be prepared as usual God bless you. Take care, see you soon.

I often wondered about seismic data with respect to P-Waves which can travel through solid rock and a liquid and S-Waves which can travel through rock, but not a liquid (magma included). As a retired oil and gas geologist, we routinely conducted P-Wave and S-Wave “thumpers” to map subterranean formations. The tech is out there to map and measure this. Beyond the conventional neoprene or seismic surface monitors. Our earth is waking up again.

I have no idea what is happening, but the whole world seems to be 'waking up' techtonically. Hardly a day goes by now without hearing about volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, natural disasters. It doesnt matter where you are, even New York now has earthquakes occurring. Places that weren't affected before are being affected. Grindavik wasnt volcanically active for over 800 years, until now! The UK is having tremors although very low on the seismic register. More than we had even 50 years ago. Yep...Mother Earth is moving around a lot nowadays.

What I don't get is... If it were me and it isn't but could be...if I knew that authorities were deliberately doing this. Why the hell do people still bend the knee to them? Why do they stay? Isn't it Enuff to see the red flags and listen to your guts? Like I don't have words to describe the insanity except just that insane.

You keep mentioning the worst case scenario for it erupting, and ignoring the more likely scenario of a small to medium sized eruption happening, which does occur regularly. Even that would be bad for the locals of course but wouldnt cause a global cooling event.
@ZeeZeeCat
@ZeeZeeCat 14 дней назад
Concerning the VEI 5 eruption (highly possible), the amount of casualties will be unimaginable, the aftermath for Mediterranean zone devastating for many years after ( ashes) for the rest of southern and central Europe - weeks of wearing masks and months of water filtration necessity and a year without summer possible ( food prices skyrocketing as well). VEI 6 - millions of instant casualties and few more due to water and air intoxication, followed by a few years of cooling the temperatures in northern hemisphere for 2-3 degrees, great famine and war conflicts as a result. VEI 6 ( also possible ) might be the end of the Europe we all know. Look at recent Huang Tonga or Ruang eruptions - only VEI 5! Not to mention we might experience a few follow up eruptions by Vesuvius or Marsili in that area, that could reach VEI5 as well. EU should build a strategy (power and food supplies, evacuation plans, water filtration systems etc.) for this worse case scenarios and take this threat seriously.
@christianbuczko1481
@christianbuczko1481 14 дней назад
@@ZeeZeeCat what you describe would need a large vei 6, a 5 would only be a local problem. The locals will be screwed regardless of size. Alot of what you mention also depends alot on weather and wind directions, which isnt likely as europe is effected by the gulf stream which should help push the ash south, and a 5 isnt big enough to cause global effects on that scale, and a 6 on the scale of pinatubo would only drop temps a degree for a few months.
@ZeeZeeCat
@ZeeZeeCat 13 дней назад
@@christianbuczko1481 You are partially right but You forget that between VEI 5 and VEI 6, there is a 100-times difference. Each level on VEI scale is veeery broad. Scientists should operate with a more precise scale ( like 5.0, 5.1.....5.9 etc). VEI 5.6 would be n eruption 60-times larger than 5.0 eruption and still considered VEI 5. VEI 5.5 and up could make a huge cataclysm depending on winds and type of the volcano content ( sulphur, CO2, fluoride, microglass particles, viscosity, heavy or light pyroclastic content etc.). Last huge CP eruption ( Yellow Tuff), VEI6, has dispersed a huge amount of ashes into north-east part of Eurasia ( yellow tuff has been found even in St. Petersburg in Russia). Not to forget that following Laki eruption in 1781 (ONLY VEI 4!) , the massive sulphur emittance led to persistent, sulphurous, dry fog, that spread all over Europe and caused a drop of average annual temperatures between 1.1 and 3.3 on the northern hemisphere for a few years.

It is deeply disturbing to see the photos of what is obviously a very dangerous volcanic area, absolutely covered in dense urban spread. Silki is pounding the drum pretty hard, but she is absolutely correct ... the cork is going to pop. Hopefully, despite recent activity, the cap rock will hold and it won't pop for a long time. But it will pop, and when it does, this will be an absolutely horrible preventable tragedy. I imagine that the ancient Pompeiians were the hapless victims of forces of Nature, which they did not have experience with, and did not understand. Yet today, even though we do now understand these things, we seem doomed to be victims anyway. It is like we have learned nothing. One thing we did learn during the recent pandemic however, is that people will not take scientists seriously, so they are not likely to move, and governments will do far too little, far too late. Still, Nature rarely does horrible things without some warning ... perhaps we should start listening to her.

They didn't have a word for volcano in ad79 pompeii, they didn't even know they were living in the shadow if a death trap. The problem is that, despite the danger, the fertile soil makes crops amazingly prosperous. And the reason the soil is so fertile is because of the volcanoes in the area

It's like studying earthquakes, you can say for certain that San Andreas WILL have a big one again, but not when or how big. It's not a crapshoot. Icelan will erupt, but they can only say that, not when it will, but only that it will

One more problem won't make much of a difference. Who knows, maybe Campi Flegrei will stop the global war we are all so desperate to start. We will all have to put our differences aside and work together if we want to survive.
